Tieryn if it's at all possible i would love to not play any more escalating games. I have lost everyone i have played because i never play escalating and i dont know how to. I signed up to play a tournament with standard cards. I would never have signed up for escalating and now that im so far into the tournament im more concerned with losing on escalating games. I know its not up to me to decide but could we possibly take a vote? just so you know where we all stand, i swear if im the only person i'll let go, but could we at least consider it.

May I make a suggestion to whichwayisup?'s comment. Maybe just escalating for the large maps. Sometimes on the large maps without escalating cards the game goes really long. Personally, I don't mind long games.

On a second note, I just learned how to play escalating in this tourney, its not that bad once you catch on. I'm normally a flat rate player. Thanks Tieryn for exposing me to new maps and settings. I was gett'n in a rut.

There's still 6 rounds, so 30 points up for grabs.. It's still anyone's tourney.

Remember, at the end of this cycle, the top 4 players will go into a final CHALLENGE SHOWDOWN, where they will play an entire runthrough of all historical battle maps (there will be a few more by that stage too). Hopefully they will all be premium so games can be created in big chunks (tho it won't be all at once.. I wouldn't dump that on you..)

Unless, we could organise all 4 to get together at a convenient time and play them speed/rt... That's an intriguing possibility, but I'll investigate it further when we know who the final 4 are, and what they are able to commit to.
