why do people like freestyle

I was merely answering why top speed freestylers have a higher win percentages over the top sequential players. it's the lineup-- lineup in a speed freestyle game isn't as nearly as skilled as the upper shelf sequential games.

Could be - but you're factoring in teh fact that a lot of the sequential players make private games, while a lot of the freestyle players play public games.

I don't understand what you mean here-- Fable, that's my point. The top Sequential players only play private games. That's why it's more difficult to win. You set up 100 speed Freestyle games with only the best-- I can assure you ( probably a lot of the games would go stale) their win percentage will go down. No 'could be' about it.

You tell me a player that could win 50%+ of the games if the lineup included: Poo-Maker, Rashid, Skiller, KG , Prankcall, Math, Woody, and you, etc etc. (This list for sake of argument is CM included- obviously it would change without the script)

That's how Seq is played...10-20 of 'the best' playing each other every game for 100's of games.

It is the pinnacle in my view. Hence it is almost all i play. Speed or casual.

now, this is a wonderful statement!! how refreshing!! someone can actually admit that they were out skilled in a game, and not declare someone a cheat in a freestyle match! this is a first! wow... this is so truly refreshing! way to go herndawg, and good luck with your speed games in the future... one day i may venture into the fray, but i feel i need a basic understanding of freestyle and CM to have a shot at even a decent win percentage... freestyle is a monster i do not know.-0

I played my first speed freestyle the other day. Awesome. My stinkin hand was shaking at one point. It is great, more strategy is involved for sure and less luck of the dice as in 8 player escalating. I made it to three of us left and cashing at 75. I was out skilled in the end but I will play again for sure. I used every second of that 5 minutes and the two minutes extra at times figuring game play, planning attacks, counting armies, watching others deployments, if they are forting yet or not and whatever else was going on at the same time and felt rushed the whole time. Freakin rad dude. I have played hundreds of 8 player games ahead of this also so it wasn't like I was new. Just new to speed freestyle 8. See you later
