wrong, he's been playing games to get specific medals, and kicking ass at it. the 1,000 or so points he has lost he will easily get back. i'm sure he'll be by in a bit to let you know exactly what i just said.-0

Who cares - doodle assassin is both the quickest way to get the assassin medals and the biggest lottery in the game. The result is that a good chunk players interested in the medals will go this route. I'll probably do the same thing in the future. Of course rank will drop and in no way is it indicative of skill. For strong players like JR getting those points back is a breeze.

no matter how good one is ....there will always be a learning curve to somthing new. My hats off to him for trying new maps and styles knowing he would have a hard go at first. The same cant be said for others.

wtf..

i know im not the only one that thinks JR is one of those so called high ranks that hide behind team games and take advantage of noobs.

plus doodle assasins, like any other game require some sort of strategy.

I would say that playing almost exclusively gimic maps like age of realms like you do is just as bad as anything you might accuse JR or any other high ranker of. A lot of players join those games and have absolutely no idea what they're doing. In this way you take advantage of noobs (and even experienced players who just don't know the particulars of the gimic map in question).

not true. 9 out of 10 players that join my games have played the map b4.

i play age of magic because the dice arent as important as in otehr maps. if you have bad dice for 2 rounds you can still win. in any other map if you get shitty dice in the first turn ur pretty much fuked.

i play from new recruits to field marshals in my games.

I dropped 1,800 points but only need 120 games more for gold. Than I will show all you noobs how to climb back to 3,000. and yes edwin, it will be team games. Just dont join and dead beat those like you did in our doodle game 3 nights ago [-X

for your amusement. he quit and missed a turn which directly caused me to lose the game. I had the game wrapped up but without him attacking the 3rd player, he was able to save enough armies to eliminate me. And he wonders how I lost so many points? Its from deadbeats like him.

like no one ever deadbeated a game because there was something more important going on in real life...

if thats you case then i feel sry for you.

i play alot of 1vs1 age or realms yea, its my thing. but i play everyone.. not just people i know i can beat. plus other maps and different settings and my score stays decently ok.

he played team games and 1vs1 against noobs and stayed at a high rank. as soon as he played something new against people with respectable ranks he dropped, really bad.

I dunno why you guys are bashing the OP when he's pretty obviously right. JR24 is absolutely terrible at games that aren't against new recruits and cadets. Repost from another thread where it was never addressed:

If you were good, you wouldn't lose so much when you stepped outside your comfort zone. You get points by farming players who have never seen freestyle games, not because you're good.
*Edit*
It's even more than I suspected. Your current score is 1683, and you've got 9473 completed games, with 7198 won.
Image
Since CC generously gave you 1000 points to start, and you've managed to maintain enough farms to harvest 2885 more, this means you have lost 2202 points playing any setting other than 2 player freestyle. And it's certainly the freestyle aspect that makes farming worthwhile, because you're -935 in 2 player sequential. I had no idea that "good" players thought CC was scored like golf.

You're really gonna be upset if they make a medal for winning tournaments, but I guess you could always set up your own. Call it "Tour JR's Farm".

If you really want to derail this by talking about OP's 300+ AOR games, you might have a look at them. The majority are games he started, so he can't choose who joins. And there's a lot of brass showing up in games he joins. Plus, he's -15 over all three maps (1v1), and only +147 on AOR2. So he's hardly gotten all of his points there, and he's definitely not running a two thousand point deficit on other settings. ;)

stop!! stop!!! just stop it!!! you are bringing rational thought into a drastically irrational thread!! JR is the devil, period. no matter what you post on here or what you say, you are not going to derail the OP and his posse and their bashing of JR... i already posted that i think they are wrong.. but hey, if you disagree, just be silent and let them have their non-fact based go at JR...-0

as always, theres a few [modedit]people[/modedit] on this site that want to [modedit]disagree with me -[/modedit] they dont understand. They post half the information ( the part they want you to read ) but not the entire information. Did you run the same report for triples? Im sure you dint. Because you will see a +3742 points for that catagory. Instead, we filter information to an exact science to make it look bad for a player like Mr Baldy has done.

He runs a report for 2 player single games, played only freestyle, on a rainy Saturday afternoon, in the month of April. Than takes a snap shot and says....oh look at this !

I have played many team games with JR against high ranking players and he always played very well. Can't understand all this hostility against him. He's a great player.

Did you do that search yourself, or just make up the number? Cause I did it, and got +1416. Do you need help? chipv is very helpful. He can probably help you figure out what you did wrong.

I don't think you understood my point. I was saying that when you're on your own, as in you sit down at a board against 4 or 5 other players, you lose terribly, because you're not good at the game. Now what you've gone and done is shown that you're even worse than I said you were, by saying you've gained 3000+ points in triples games. You haven't, but +1416 is bad enough. That means you've lost over 3500 playing any other style. And those other styles are the kinds that are actually like Risk. You can't sit down with your friends, then play first every time and win by moving your hands quickly. You can't sit down and team up with half of them to kill the other half. When you try playing the game as it was meant, you lose. And you lose a lot. You're not very good. Thanks for replying like a petulant child when you've been called out though. Class act, all the way.

There's another nice little thing that map rank lets anyone do, and that's to find the average score of your opponents. Since I'm sure you (and others who want to rush to your defense and play team games with you) will argue that you play against plenty of high ranked players, I went ahead and crunched those numbers for you. In freestyle 1v1 games, your average opponent has 0.32 times your score. That's a cowardly amount. In triples, you've won 2773 from 3530. Your opponents have an average score of 53.5% of your team's score. Slightly better. Still a little embarrassing though, I don't think I'd be spouting off about being great if I got all my points from cooks.

*edit* Cheers for the edits mods, but I'd prefer if you left the original alone in mine. Otherwise the petulant child bit doesn't really play.
