Medals updating..

Quick question does anyone know where or have the answer to how often medal awards are updated to an account (once every 24hours) for example. Its just looking at many profiles it shows that multiple awards in the same type of play were awarded at the same time. Indicating some kind of lag between achieving the awards and then having them displayed on your profile.

the instant you meet the requirements you also receive the medals. or at least that's what happened to me.

If the medals were awarded at the same time, it was probably when the person won their first game after medals were implemented. This was how the code was implemented. After that point (your first win), the medals are updated after every game you win (the only time you can gain medals).
