It's interesting how easy it is to beat a lot of people, if the vast majority of them are new recruits, and a lot of those deadbeat. Do you deny that most of your opponents in your famed Circus Maximus games are new recruits?

actually, i think this statistic is uninteresting, since it only lists unique opponents, whereas the ones you beat twice arent included, therefore giving you a big advantage since you rarely play anyone twice.
if you wanted to use a statistic that includes all opponents beaten, you might as well use the kill ratio that map rank offers.

When I was a new recruit I was VERY tempted to join a slew of Circus Maximus games, I must admit. I was curious as to why so many were made and so many people joined them. I previewed the game and it said no continents/bonuses, etc. so I restrained myself. Glad I didn't, I think since at the time I was freemium, I probably would have not bought premium if I joined.

Since those players that you've listed can't make it into qwert's list, the logic is they won't be listed here either.

I'm calling BS on you because you won't even go against me or anyone that has a rank higher then a question mark. Do that for several dozen games, and if your rank goes down because of it, then you don't deserve your rank, AND without putting everyone on your foes list.

I feel that this rating is biased toward people who play 8 player games. Clearly someone who wins 1 out of 6 eight player games will have a higher rating than someone who wins 3 out of 6 two player games, even though the second person has a much higher win percentage.

I never heard for these formula,any way if you counting in that way,player who defeat 80 unique oponent in 10 games,will be what-most skilled player in CC?
You formula is very wrong,because you must calculated with how many player you play in your 1214 finished games,and then you can calculated your score;also you can not counting finished games when you play with same unique oponent several times.
I dont understand why you refered these topic with mine,because i dont create scoring table for most skilled player,i create scoring table for 10 player with most defeated unique oponent.

There is another thread in GD that is in the process of listing the top ten CC members in regards to simple number of unique opponents defeated.

This is a fine thread, but it only tells half the story. Any unintelligent and unskilled player will develop a large number of unique defeated opponents, simply by playing a large number of games.

Similarly, some very skilled and intelligent players may not have played as many games yet, and so the bare number of unique opponents defeated holds absolutely no relevance to such a player's actual skill in the game. What if the most skilled player of all has only played a handful of games, for example? No -- merely counting the number of unique opponents says absolutely nothing about a member's actual skill level in the game.

I broke out my calculator and revised the list in the other thread to show each player's ACTUAL game skill statistics. This version tells the whole story, whereas the other thread only tells half the story.

Each member from the other list is ranked here according to Unique Opponents Defeated per Game Finished (uod/gf).

For clarity, because a certain individual on the other thread has displayed an unfortunate ignorance of simple mathematics, the relevant statistic "uod/gf" is presented here for each member on the list as both a raw number and a percentage. (50% = 0.50; 100% = 1.00; 200% = 2.00, etc).

I'm delighted to see that I am by far the highest ranked member on the site (so far), as regards ACTUAL Skill Level, and I would like to thank my kind friends at the other thread for providing the statistics by which these facts have been calculated. All very impressive but sadly rather meaningless when you consider ;

A) I am a brilliant strategist yet fail to get a mention
B) Klobber is number one yet only gets points by rigging games so that most of his opponents deadbeat

Come back when a decent formula is established that puts great players like myself in their rightfull positions in the hall of fame

Incidently a player who deadbeats from the start is deemed to be a non combatant and consequently not actually defeated, all such examples should therefore be recognised in the statistics and positions adjusted accordingly - Klobber unfortunately just fell out of the top 100
