Speed games?

Whats the deal with speed games? I've started two and while waiting for players, they dissapear.

they get dropped if you are inactive for 5 minutes

They drop to eliminate the possibility that you might have walked away from CC and forgotten to quit the game. It cuts down on deadbeating of speed games, at least.
Just click around in the forums for a bit and the games will stay up.
