its the same game as regular risk, but there is an objective if you so choose to partake in that objective rather than killing your opponents
you can a) control all the castles at the start of your turn, or b)kill everyone
there are some special things about feudal wars...
bombardments: the castle gets to attack any territory in its kingdom that it does not touch, but it cannot move armies there, just kill them. you have to attack adjacent territories before you can expand.
auto-deployment: castles automatically get 5 men placed there on the start of the turn if you own that castle, and 3 men go on a village if you own that
bonus structure: there is a regular bonus based on the territories you own, like in real risk. and there is also a bonus of +1 man for every 2 territories you own within a realm
