Instant gratification?

I was considering upgrading to premium now that I've gotten some money from my brief tenure of a summer job, but does it upgrade instantly? I looked at the FAQ and saw that payments made from a chequing account take 4 business days to clear. Does this lag apply to every method of payment, or can I have an instant premium if I pay by credit card?

They're fairly quick with it... You may get it instantly, I'm not sure though. Either way, it's fairly quick.

Great- the only thing is, I'm kind of worried that if I pay by credit card, it might automatically renew payments. If I forgot about it- I could end up paying 25$ annually for however long this site runs :lol:
