I must say i really do believe the dice are pretty damn good.

Ok I haven't played thousands upon thousands of games like some of the members here but i have played almost 150 games which is a fair amount. And as of yet i have seen no evidence of dodgy dice, yes sometimes you get really unlucky, but sometimes you get really lucky; overall they even themselves out. :)

i cant prove anything but in the games i play the dice do seem pretty streaky

if i get bad dice i normally wait a couple of seconds or attack somewhere different just incase it happens again

when i win a 1 vs 2 dice roll i always attack again straight away... and it works

i once killed 10 with 2 because i won the first roll and just kept attacking really quickly

And I'd be interested in hearing about these hacks and if they exist, we'll close the loopholes :)

This topic has been gone over again and again, yet, despite the graphs and efforts to convince everyone otherwise, I stand by my contention that the dice are streaky...
I can't count the number of times the defender has rolled six after six after six. And the frequency of defensive 6's on the first attack is off the charts.
As for hacks, I truly hope this site is so 'secure' that none exist, but recent games have me seriously wondering if some users have managed to successfully use them.
I don't think I'm the only one who has considered this possibility. -Afterall, there's clearly no shortage of individuals with the skills to create malicious coding or willingness to use them, -just look at the numbers of multis. [-X

I have played in many games and I do think the dice suck more than not. I not only speak for myself but for many players in my games. Go to any of my games and check out the log. In many attacks, sure first attack I roll a 6 but 8-10 times, so does the defender dice. And I am sorry, but you should never be beaten attacking anything above a 7-1 attack, that's just BS. There are better dice programs that would make the game much better and venting here really doesn't make a difference. Nothing is ever done about it. I enjoy this site, but in all honesty, players are not getting what they pay for here!

After all that evidence, have you ever thought that maybe it is your perception of what "should be" that is skewed?

I guess if my "perception" is that a single die should not roll a six more about 20% of the time (about 1 out of 5 rolls), or that streaks of 3 or more consecutive 6's are rolled with real dice far less frequently than with CC dice, then sure, Timminz, you could say I'm just bitching because I've got nothing better to do.
Having taken several months, many hours, designing a map for this site, I'd like to see CC continue to be the best Risk-based gaming site online, but I don't believe, as you would prefer to think, that this is my imagination.

I know what I see, and there's a problem with streaks of the defensive dice rolling a disproportionate amount of 6's.

but they showed, along with others, a significant standard deviation, which is normal. The dice are "streaky", but even. just go to any casino and go to the craps table ; just look at the SAME DICE as CC , both hot and cold!
