Is it ok to discuss a players position and army numbers in the chat log? Should it be limited to for example red is powerful and is taking over the world as opposed to "Red in in North and South America and has 20 on Greenland"?
I understand that to some degree you can figure out a players position and numbers by reading the game log and add up bonuses and deployments and get an idea what is what, But I played a game where a guy busted me out telling what i had on specific territories in a world 2.1 game. giving away my position and power early in the game. I was immediately targeted. I stated that was not right in a fog game to give away so much information, and his response was that's the norm.
I don't see anything wrong with pointing a finger and saying another player is powerful and bringing attention to them. But to give away positions and numbers is that right?
Is it ok to tell everyone what you can see in the game chat? The rules do not specifically say you can not. Should they be changed or am I wrong? Should it be open game to spill the beans on everything you see?
