point dumping

Postby Jeff Hardy on Mon Nov 03, 2008 11:34 am

why do the people who deadbeat 200 speed games get banned, but the players that are obviously points dumping, but only losing a couple of games a day are left alone?

everyone under 300 points is obviously doing it on purpose

if the crest of the pile of the dump breaks the surface of the water, i give myself 2 extra points. point dumping can be a fun game for friends that don't live near each other... all you need is a dump, a digital camera, and a fair scoring system.-0

I've dumped before, just not illegally. Join a whole bunch of doodle assassin games with cadets and such. Assuming they are all below sergeants, which they typically are, you'll lose around 70+ points for a loss and gain around 42 for a win. And since you'll win around 35-40% of the time by outsmarting these kids (who think that it's complete luck whilst it's not even close otherwise how could you win so often), you'll still be losing mad points.

Once it gets to a lower score then just don't attack your first 3 turns. Game is usually over by then. And as long as you deployed you can't be smashed for anything such as "not taking advantage of an opportunity" or something.

The people at the bottom of the pool will get their kumuppence.

If any of them become malicious, report em and we'll smack them silly.

As for point dumping in general - it just messes with the score board and leads to inflation which makes the scoring less fun for everyone in the long run. So, if we see it, or it gets reported (you have many more eyes than we do) then we try to act on it where we can.

just go look at the last scoreboard page, how can you not see it?
no one tries to win games and still has less than 300 points
