Picking on lower Ranks

Postby nickcode on Tue Nov 25, 2008 9:46 am

Hey, just a question but why do higher ranks (not all) pick off on lower ranks like me. Every time i get a higher rank somone joins a game with a higher rank and knocks me off that rank.
So why do you do that. It is bullying on lower ranks, just so you can get more points fair.

Some of you not all of you see new recruits and decide to take them out by beating them in a game. So why dont you pick a fight with your own rank instead of newer players or are you just scared. So i ask you that question why do you do that? :?

Problem: You don't like people who are better players than you joining your games and then winning.

Solutions:
(1) Buy premium, make password protected games, support this site instead of leeching and complaining.
(2) Scour list of forming games for games with only one open slot remaining and join those.

Mega-Solutions:
(1) Learn from your errors, become a better player, win some games against people of higher rank than yourself, reap points, get girl, save world, mediate, maintain, ejaculate.

You have two paths to choose attitude wise.

1) That which doesn't kill you makes you stronger.

OR

2) Make the bad men go away.

Choose wisely for there will always be bad men.

I personally like choice #2. Anyone else think they can use a shotgun? i have plenty to make these "bad men" go away. And if that doesn't work, you could always hit them with a car. Just don't try to pick it up. You might be crushed like a dumb s***. ;)

I would avoid playing Colonel's in solo games for the foreseeable future. Play some team games or some free for all's.

we are currently trying to figure out who he is. his ability to spell and conjugate
words comes and goes. one minute, he posts very clearly, the next, he acts as if he
can't spell the simplest of words... obviously a cover... and stop picking on lower ranks!!!

Quite right, Owen...about the multiple identities of Stephen Wayne.

Picking on anyone lower ranked than them, however, provides a good proportion of the enjoyment for many of the officers on this site. I bossed a cook around in a 2.1 game recently and, I have to say, it made me feel really good.

I don't doubt that the cook also benefited from the situation. To have one as high as I notice him...the validation! So all is fine in CC world. I'll wait a couple of days for him to do something slightly unusual and then write something like,

"Hah! You've just proved why you're a cook! Only a cook could do something as retarded as that!"

hoping to confuse the poor chap and thus help me to win the game.

You obviously missed the intention of his post. You also missed the fact it should be "affects," instead of "effects," while trying to correct his intentional grammar/spelling errors.

This made me laugh for about a solid 30 seconds. So true though. Possibly one of the best remedies when you are feeling a little down is to beat up on smaller ranks. They deserve it like when you're little brother goes into your room and digs up your dirty mags, then when you confront him about being in your room he's all like, "No I wasn't". That's when I say, "It's klobberin' time"!

So, stay out of my room and you won't get pummeled.

Yes, normality has been restored to CC. I am back in GD (where I don't doubt I belong) and you have sauntered in acting all depraved and pornographic as usual.

Ah, CC bliss...
