why doesnt s5, a shop receive a 20 army bonus for holding it? i thought all shops give that bonus?
i realize it wouldnt be an auto-deploy bonus, but as far as i can tell it doesnt give the 20

It does give the bonus. I have taken it many times and never had a problem.

Shops in the starting areas give 20 auto deploy, all others give 20 to deploy.

well i disagree, using bob it breaks down bonuses, and on my games, more than 1, it does not list s5 as receiving the 20 bonus

It's an autodeploy bonus - the "Continents Overview" doesn't list autodeploy bonuses.
