Well, you're still pretty new, so it can't be all that bad. But remember that CC is about process, not result. The finest strategy can be undone by the dice, the most catastrophically moronic strategy can fall backassward into success.

Just make sure you know why you lost. Try and learn from the defeat, see where your strategy and anticipation of the enemy's moves could have been better, and go from there. Believe me, you seem reasonably bright, your ceiling is a long way ahead of you.

Of course, there's always high-volume profanity. That helps me cope. :D

break up the band you are in with your ex-wife and start one with a bunch of friends...
maybe call yourselves the raconteurs... cut 2 albums that rocks, and get on with the touring!
hell, maybe even produce an album by Loretta Lynn!! anything to break the cycle and get back
to the funk that made you who you are!!! good luck!!!-0

One of the highs from 1v1 games is the instant gratification
but there's a downside... which you've already discovered.

I'd recommend freestyle speed games with 5 or more players
but opponents with clickable maps can be a bummer too.

Maybe some sequencial speed games will give you a decent buzz
and improve your chances of survival.

Well said incan...

And Downey, I will add that I have personally experienced an epic losing streak... 23 consecutive losses...
Yep, that's right... TWENTY THREE...
Losing 2 out of 3 doesn't bother me a bit... but let me tell you, 23 was tough...

But don't laugh too hard at me... i once had a 6 game winning streak! (woot!)
