Ace you're a knucklehead if you want to keep alive a sk in this game. FOS at Ace for being the SK the way he keeps trying to point out the good things concerning that. In fact, Vote Ace just to make a point although I'll switch to derf later today.

I thought LSU promised to vote derfderf, or did I misread this post?

End of Day One Votecount

derfderf34 (7) - Sierra_Leon, animorpherv1, mpjh, dunc_2007, drench, LSU Tiger Josh
animorpherv1 (3) - derfderf34, Minister Masket, ace1217

Not Voting (3) - /, Stroop, cena-rules

What a day indeed. The discussion was intense over how to best go about avenging the death of a fallen commrad, was it best to get rid of someone who was weak? Get rid of someone who seemed to be suspicious? Or just not get rid of anyone at all and hope that everything worked itself out.

After a flurry of discussion though, two people became the center of attention. First was Pikachu, surely the threat of him being able to get by at night was enough to take a closer look at him. If they wanted to get rid of him they would eventually need to take a stand during the day. Then there was also Donkey Kong, quite the opposite of Pikachu in looks, but he did seem to be one of the main pushers for getting rid of the little electric mouse. People took note of this and a new debate raged. Who was the better one to rid the Smash Brothers world of? Eventually a decision was reached, it was Donkey Kong who would pay for the death of Mario. The group closed in around him and the job was done.

derfderf34 - Donkey Kong (One shot Vigilantee) - Mafia, lynched day one

This is a friendly reminder, all night actions are due in about 28 hours. If you do not send in an action by this time, it will be forfieted.

Also I have a standby replacement for dunc_2007, who was prodded shortly before day one ended and has yet to pick up his prod. He has about twelve hours to get back to me or he will be replaced.

A prod is a reminder to a player that they are actually playing the game. It assures that they do not ignore it for too long, or have not flaked. Dunc had not posted since sunday, so was prodded to make sure he is here and would not need to be replaced.

Also with that in mind, dunc never picked up his prod, farside22 replaces dunc_2007 effective immediately. Day one will dawn around 6PM PST tomorrow at the latest.

It was a good night, a member of the mafia was gone. Everyone retired to their dwellings for the night, anxious for daybreak, and to see if they would even make it through the night. As the sun rose, they began to do a headcount. Six… seven… eight… nine. Just nine? You become depressed as you realize that two of your comrades are missing. Then you realize that you have forgotten to count yourself.

Looking around it soon becomes apparent who is gone.

mpjh, Samus, Inventor, Town – Shot night one

It is time to return to the hunt. There are more people to avenge.

Day two begins, with ten alive it takes six votes to lynch.
Deadline is Friday February 6th and 3:00PM, PST.

Vote ace1217, even though you were essentially saying the same thing as I was suggesting, you took it much further, the fact that you went so far on telling the possible benefits of derf being mafia, causes me to believe you knew he was mafia from the start.

MM wrote:
Roles crucial to the game - Watcher (ace), Commuter (/), Redirector (cena) and probably Roleblocker (myself).

ace and / in particular should be left alive for a while, since they're most likely to discover alligiences.
It will down to chance for the town if these two are scum.

I really don't see why just those roles are critical. All roles are valuable in there own way.

I did agree with MM on derf's attempt (poor at that) calling me scum because of a mistake.

Ace's vote on MM calling saying he is buddying up makes no sense. I saw it as discussion.

This comment is priceless from Ace:

He's buddying up to people. Also, getting rid of the SK is probably more important right now then killing the mafia; when SK dies, a kill each night disappears. Killing a mafia will not make this happen.

Usually I've noticed that scum are more scared of the SK then town. Mafia want the SK dead so they don't have to worry about being shot themselves.

LSU is correct about the hider and other roles.

Seirra: Any role can be scum. A watcher, hider, role blocker. Doesn't matter it is still information. If lets say the hider turned out to be scum we would look at who they claimed they hid behind.

cena_rule: Don't really like the reason or vote on mpjh

morph: BP is not a waste unless the vig is scum which was the case, as the vig even though the BP could be mafia won't be shot by the vig. So it's a safety net for a mafia member to survive.

Don't like / nothing to say comment

I wonder with derf coming up scum and his quick vote on ani leads me to believe they may not be on the same side.

cena seems in this post to be defending derf:
What about the 2 that voted after him? seems to me that you are trying to wagon him after SL voted him as well

Stopped at top of page 6

I admit I must question why stroop visited farside. Also, I admit I was wrong with wanting to keep derf alive, but it seemed like he would have a chance of benefiting town, which is something that would be helpful to us.

I die if I hide behind mafia, so naturally I chose not to hide behind you. Your role has nothing to do with this, once again.

Mister masket vote on animo is for poor reasoning. I just don't agree as BP can gain something more then nothing.
For example the inventor could have sent somthing to animo knowing he can't be killed.

I do think it's odd that out of everyone that BW morph that he voted for derf.

Drench:
FoS: Ani

Obviously I can't vote him, or the Day ends. Unless there's no-one opposed to a hammer now

IE: Is it okay with the town I will hammer. There is that moment where my gut says scum trying to look town by asking the town moment.

Ace: Why did you think Ace was scum over derf?

/ wrote:Are we sure we want to get rid of derf before he can use his kill?
I mean on the one hand, if he were to help us, we would have one extra shot at hitting mafia, fairly valuable in a small game with two kills per night.
Though on the other hand, if he is mafia, and believes us to know he's mafia, he'll definitely use it on town no matter what we say, losing us an extra townie.

And your point was?

Dont' like Ace logic on keep derf alive. This game should not be based on roles folks.

Minister Masket wrote:Aha.

So nope, he is completely NK-proof. Meaning that his only benefits are his votes, and that he will last until end-game except if lynched. And then lose.
The other roles in the game have the potential to actually win the town the game.

What? Why does he lose if he is town? Typically town win whether dead or alive. Scum win in the end. This makes no sense to me.

Really don't like that ace keeps defending derf.

Why do I feel like scum bussing when I see this post:

Drench wrote:
ace1217 wrote:
mpjh wrote:The more said, the more ani looks just inexperienced at making an argument and derfderf looks scum. If derfderf is scum lynching him is a bonus because his ability to use the vig kick is gone also, and cannot be used against a townie. I keep my vote on derfderf.

...Why are you thinking negative? Assuming derf is town, his ability is quite helpful; he should be left alive for now, at least.

This is a bit WIFOMy. It really isn't a fantastic point against derfderf being lynched; if derfderf if mafia, and we don't lynch him, he gets a free kill, and gets one step closer to winning. Same story if he is SK.

On derfderf: his case does hold weight. His bandwagoning with no reason and his asking us to follow his lead is disturbing. Vote: derfderf. He's now at L-1. NO-ONE lynch until he gets a chance at defending himself.

Ace: Do you know the chances of scum vig hitting the SK?

Mod: you end of night vote count is incorrect I found Cena_rules unvote but never saw him vote again.

vote: Ace

I really saw ace trying hard not to have derf lynched and even tried to use the idea of him hitting the SK as a possiblity.

You're the one making baffling comments. Because he's bullet-proof, the mafia won't be able to kill him unless through lynching. If he survives, he'll be outnumbered at EndGame, and lose anyway. Assuming he is town, of course.
