Lots of Newbies...
Lately I have had a rash of first timers sign up and then play one round or never play a single turn. I am frustrated. I probably won't renew my premium membership as I have lost much enjoyment because of these deadbeats. Can there not be a solution such as limiting newbie tools to playing only other newbie tools until they have completed so many games as to be deemed trust worthy to join other games? I am sad.

What premium membership?

Guessing by that date I assume his membership just ran out. Maybe I am wrong.

I have had premium membership for two years. I've played over 3K games.
Now what's a solution to the deadbeats here?

Maybe you could try joining a few games with players who are a bit higher rank? They tend not to deadbeat so much. Thoughts on that? (No I did not look at your games to see what you played and vs who)

Try using private games. No, I am not premium, and I do not know from experience, but that sounds like a good solution.

Use the foe button and you will not have to deal with them again. Peace of mind.

really, just dont worry about them... if you have premium, and have played 3k games..im amazed you noticed
certainly if they were my partner, id notice they missed, but if they miss in a regular game, i have simply never cared, assuming it didnt throw the game. I am amazed you would cancel your membership over this... ive been here just a bit longer, and played a few more games...but never once have cared one iota about deadbeats. And im not saying your wrong to care. Im just surprised. Usually, its only the new non premium players that care ironically enough.
I'm Spanking Monkey now....err...I mean I'm a Spanking Monkey now...that shoots milk
Too much. I know.
Too much. I know.
Re: Lots of Newbies...
why would that affect your decision to renew, if they are 1v1s it's free points and if not it shouldn't affect you if your premium

I am bothered because I have had a rash of deadbeats lately, all from first timers. Many of the deadbeats are in multiple player games. After they miss one turn (or two) I of course concentrate on playing against the other actives. But there is that 24/48/72 hours wasted waiting for the deadbeat to finally be put to rest. And if you have TWO deadbeats enter a contest it's an even greater waste of time.
And I'm not cancelling my membership. I just let it expire.
Thank all of you for your suggestions.

Some people aren't in it for the free points, you know. Some people are in it to play the game. =P

Once upon a time, farmers prospered and were harvesting those deadbeats. Now when that's illegal, the deadbeats have spread like a plague to games where they do not belong. I am sad.

No. Just the new player deadbeats silly! Then let them complain to the administrator that no one will let them join their games. Case Solved. Of course you are welcome to continue playing the same deadbeats time after time.
