LET ME REITERATE. THIS IS A PRO-MOD GROUP AND A PRO-MOD THREAD. THERE ARE PLENTY OF ANTI-MOD THREADS SO PLEASE DON'T BRING THAT GARBAGE HERE. SOME OF US SUPPORT THE MODS AND DON'T APPRECIATE BEING THREATENED OR SHOUTED DOWN FOR THAT.

1 - This has a double purpose, not just announcing a usergroup but announcing my return, ergo General Discussion.

2 - See the second paragraph re: your question about me quitting. It is fully explained. The community will thank you in advance for taking the time to carefully read messages before choosing to reply.

This should be in the callout's clan section because of the usergroup mention, maybe you should reconsider the post, edit it, ask a mod to move it for you, then post in your "I'm leaving thread."

Thank you, Strife. I have taken your counsel under advisement and, upon further review, believe that - since more than 50% of the post deals with matters other than a new usergroup - the post would be untopical for callouts and is most topical for General Discussion.

If you would like to appeal this matter you have the option of discussing it with a mod.

Best Regards -

Well, I'm just saying, GD isn't the place to start a usergroup. There are other forums and sub-forums for that, as even a mod suggested. Here's a better suggestion: remove the clan related section and post that in the callouts usergroup section, then provide a link to it in this thread. Good luck though.

As I noted, my decision is final and appeals are most appropriately lodged with a mod.

Moved on over to the Create/Join a Usergroup Forum.

If you'd like to post about returning to CC, you may continue that discussion in the General Discussions forum. :)

Look at that, I didn't have to even mention anything to pengui either. How strange that his suggestion is so similar to mine. :?

If you're serious, you should get prepared for a banning. Of all the dumb things I've seen you post that is one of the dumbest. This would also be another faulty report added to your record.

you don't have to be rude; calling some "dumb" is a flame because it seeks to belittle

note:

Flames are posts or parts of posts which, directly or indirectly, insult, belittle, bully, name-call, or otherwise attack another user is not allowed.

I'm going to tell you very kindly. First, I called what you post dumb, not you directly. Next you don't need to be sore about me being right, I'm sure you can handle it without any multi reports. Now as you most likely know you have been grossly over using the reporting system here at C.C. and that too holds consequences. You can't just go around reporting things without good reason. You simply just don't seem to get that every time you falsely report someone you waste a mods time.

You're presuming he's actually reporting anything. There's no question he isn't...that would require gumption on his part.

You don't have the first understand of anything the moderators have spoken to me about. I strongly suggest that you stop speaking for them, however.

1 - I'm not "speaking for them"

2 - you are mistaken (like you were mistaken when you haughtily predicted "he'll be gone by tomorrow" just because you disagree with me about tolerance and diversity)

First, this is none of your business.

Second, I am modifying the Rainbow Rule to add a fifth sub-section which will be a pledge of personal loyalty to me. I have to do this because otherwise bad seeds and problem posters will overrun the group like they do my threads oftentimes. Also, this will make it easier for me to issue instructions to group members. Once our usergroup is more established I may revert the Rainbow Rule back to its original verbiage. Hopefully this will be a transient measure only.

If you have any more questions you can PM me, otherwise your continued participation in this thread is permissible under the rules but not welcome.

Actually it is my business, I would like to know the other members in the group, maybe I am not compatible with them and would rather not join because of possible argument or maybe they would fail to mention this non-compatibility and just tell you I am not welcomed.

First, I'll be changing the name of the group from the Tolerance & Diversity group to the Tolerance & Acceptance group because it better encapsulates what we're about.

Second, I can tell you right now you're not compatible and will not be welcome in the T&A group under any circumstances until your attitude seriously improves.
