I won the ones I went first on, and you won the ones you went first on.
Yeah... No.
In a map that was "fair", it wouldn't matter who went first. It's just a big map for high rankers to farm low rankers. Nice try though.
actually, all maps tend to favor going first. The reason world is more fair than others, is because you have more armies to work with, so the dice and strategy can prevail, which makes it more fair.
I understand you dont understand the map as you said, which is why you dont understand the reasoning, but on world, the first person gets 12, and often the second person gets 11... as opposed to many maps where the player who goes first, gets 6 and player 2 can get 5.
Its a matter of percentages and economies of scale, which makes it the most fair map in my opinion. There is an advantage in going first, as there is on any map, but it is more possible to come back from going second, with good strategy than on any other map.
It wasnt a try. Ive simply learned it by playing it. If I wanted a tricky map to farm noobs, Id play feudal, or aor, or waterloo. Instead I play a map with no tricks or secret passages or silly bonuses.
The other maps or fun too, but I prefer a world domination map, when I play a world domination game.

If it was a farming map, Id have been able to demolish someone like you, who admitted you never really play on it, as you were able to farm someone like me on feudal, who never plays those settings. On world, its straight forward enough for a new player to win, feudal takes time to learn, and takes tricks, and is the epitome of a farming unfair map. Thats why I play world.
I like a real challenge on a real map. To each his own though.
