I think I was a junior. She was sitting at an outdoor coffee place. One of my friends said, "Is that Natalie Portman?" So, I walked over and said hi, asked her if she was Natalie Portman (yes). I asked if she was going to our college, she said probably not (I think she wound up going to Yale). I said something like, "well, good luck." She said thanks and that was it.

I once bowled with Dave Madden, the actor who played manager Rueben Kincaid on The Partridge Family.

It was a benefit of some sort, I even forget what the cause was (this was back in the late 90s), and Madden was one of the B-list celebrities who attended. Imagine my excitement when I was assigned to the same lane as Reuben Kincaid!
