Possibly, when they're visiting from Italy.

Haha, that's pretty awesome.
The way I'd like to die?
I'd like to be blown up. In an enormous explosion that's awe-worthy.
At my funeral I'd like them to play Runes to My Memory by Amon Amarth.

Reasons for wanting to be blown up:
I find dying from disease or frailty to be... a... for a lack of better words... weak way to die.
Who wants to be remembered dying to something like that?
Honestly though, who wouldn't like to go out with a bang?

etc... you get the idea.

I had an awesome idea that's similar to that.
It's actually a prank though.
1. You fake your death.
2. You let everyone know that you're not really dead except for the one person that you're pulling the prank on.
3. You invite everyone to the funeral.
4. You have the funeral at night with strobe lights and techno music.
5. It will be an open casket funeral.
6. You make slight movements that will be noticed by that one person each time the light goes out. (You can have your eyes open, staring at that person, for example. REALLY CREEPY.)
7. You would, of course, have to give up the prank at some point in time or you'll probably end up giving that person a heart attack.

Not bad. I was talking in the "pick a cake pole" thread with DDS about having pizza and refreshments at my funeral. My current choice of song has to be "The Venga bus". Played on the bag pipes might be a nice touch.

Serious questions if I may for DDS.

Are you concerned that your new avatar looks quite a bit like you? That could happen. Or are you excited?

How does one get a 21gun salute if they don't have 21 armed friends left?

I'd want my funeral to be as fun as possible so Boys Are Back In Town-Thin Lizzy

Sweet Home Alabama-Lyn Skyn

Sweet Child of Mine-Guns N Roses

and for a more serious song at some point A Day In The Life-Jeff Beck

Any Bob Dylan song I mgiht find appropriate

Maybe a Rolling Stones song or two like "dead Flowers" "waiting on a friend" or "you can't always get what you want"

I wouldn't play any pink Floyd as much as I like them because that woudl be depressing.

For all questions there are answers!

Yes, I am a bit shocked that Les Grossman and myself share a strikenly similar appearence. My hair has started to shed recently and I've been growing hair in the worst of places.

As for the salute...I can put it in my will to hire Mexicans to do this...Though they just could take the guns and shoot everyone at the funeral...Then it'd be a mass funeral...Oh well, Mexicans it will be, for better or worse!

Hmmmm, there's been a pretty good rise in illegal Mexicans here. I wonder if they can find enough to hire for my funeral. Then again what will I know. I'll put it in my will and doesn't matter if it happens or not does it?

Well Mr. Grossman has the attitude to pull of that look. You should be able to slip comfortably into a similar one.
