why don't you create a few games and invite some cooks from the scoreboard

or go to the Society of the Cooks Training Ground forum and invite some from there

Joining SoC is definitely a great idea, if you want to play ppl around the same rank. Starting a bunch of games with randoms will do nothing, most of the time they'll miss turns anyway. SoC is a great tool for someone who want to develope themselves as a solid competitor.

not in my games they don't

i often start a bunch of games when i am trying to target a particular medal such as Terminator or Assassin and will invite all the premiums from a page of the scoreboard.

they don't all accept but enough do

I assumed that he was talking about team games. If he is a good player and confident in his skills, than he SHOULD just start random games. But if hes looking for teammates, and practice, than SoC is the way to go.

Most Society of Cook members seem to progress out of cook rank pretty fast.

Why do you want to play with cooks... Playing with non cooks can help you learn how to play better. There are a bunch of experienced members that willing to be nice to most any rank and help them learn and play with them.
