Think it's time for a break.....

Post by b00060 »

Thanks for everyone who has made this site an enjoyable experience. I have decided to not renew my membership. Although there are several reasons, most importantly the rampant multi-accounts among freemiums and the inability to filter out freemiums from games created along with the absolutely crazy dice that are now a part of conquer club ( i can't count on my hands how many 12 v. 2 rolls I lost yesterday alone. Until CC takes a serious look at providing an enjoyable experience for those that actually pay for this site, I will be among the the freemiums.

Dude, you're in a strong position to win my Evolutionary IV Tournament...which has a premium prize. Will that get you to stay? <grin>

I presume this means I need to replace you on my Track Team Tournament team?

Or have I misunderstood and you're still sticking around, just not paying?

You're welcome, I had fun playing you too. You were always fun to play with and against. :)

Meh... lackattack will survive without your small contribution, don't worry! :D

b00060 wrote:...most importantly the rampant multi-accounts among freemiums...

There is only soo much the multi-hunters can do.

b00060 wrote:...and the inability to filter out freemiums from games created...

So freemiums don't have the right to play?!? We were all freemiums once. You can always create private games and open it up to any premium members you want. Besides, you know CC is against segregation of players.

This isn't another dice complaint is it? We all get them at some point, it's part of the CC experience. I had a 24 v 4 last week and got to advance 2.

Sad to see you go, especially like this man. Hope you'll still stick around.

I, like Joshyboy, wonder why you have a problem playing with freemiums? As a freemium, I find it extremely rude that you would have such an issue with playing with someone who plays for free. I understand your dislike of the multi-account users, but I see no reason that a free player is any less skilled than one who pays. That, and your misplaced blame of the lost 12 vs. 2 rolls, leaves me feeling that you have developed a sense of entitlement over your paid account. trust me when I say that there is nothing they can do about the lost rolls while still keeping the game fair. have you ever played risk table-top? clearly you haven't, otherwise you would understand that that happens all the time. the only thing a large attack force does is increase your odds of winning, it guarantees nothing.

I am so sure you have played all of 2 games on this site. If you are not a multi, then I do not know who is.

I don't understand what the problem of the above posters is, as I am just telling the truth. I am (well at least I used to be, not sure if I am still) b0060's friend, and I meant every word of that in a (bromance kind of) loving way. I know that b00060 got annoyed at me in Game 7661049 by apparently suiciding into him, but the fact of the matter was I had a 100 and a 50 stack on the other side of the map on Great Kingdom 7 and Great Kingdom respectively at the time I hit him, and had more than enough troops (must have totalled about 120 on Feudal Castle, Feudal 7, and Feudal 5 after I hit him) on the side I hit him at. I really do hope that he doesn't have any ill feelings towards me just because of that. As for my first post in this thread, it's just the truth, and I am sorry if I offended anyone, but they had no right to be that way.

I'd reply to your responses, but with CC they fall on deaf ears. Apparently they don't feel that paying members should have the right to segregate themselves from freemiums if they choose in games. Not sure if they did any research, but I bet the multi hunting would be a lot easier when people have no reason to create multiple accounts if they can't keep joining paying members games and ruining them. As far as your other comments joshy, I'll just ignore them and keep playing and see you on the battlefield.

b0060

it says alot about this website when paying customers get childish, rude, unprofessional response from employees of the website.

imagine going to a store and a customer service rep saying "well Best Buy will survive without your measly $50 contribution"

totally classless,
he basically spit on you and everyone else who has paid money to games at CC

Thanks natty. Since when was I an employee? Oh and gannable, you're making a fool of yourself by trying to talk badly about me and put me down. It doesn't make you look cool or like anything special. I'm a customer just like the rest of you. I've bought my own premium and premium for others. Try denying that.

One of these days everyone with bright colorful names will realize that even if they are volunteers they represent ConquerClub to the rest of us.

But it doesn't have to be that way, is it that hard to see that we are paying members who get our colors for helping the site in some way...and the guys in red are the ones actual employees of the site? I have realized that everyone views me differently btw but just because that is the current state does not mean that is the way it has to be.

I have been on this site a decent amount of time and every time you come to the forms there is some person bitching about the dice, I can understand as someone who thinks the dice are random (i think joshy agree's with me here) that these threads are stupid and annoying. Personally i don't bother posting in them much but if lack had changed the dice without making an announcement I'm sure no one would have ever complained about wanting the "old dice" back and we would just have the string of usual we want new dice threads.

Yes the dice screw me too but then again they screw everyone, one thing i can say for certain is that i never know what roll is going to come next and with that the dice are random.

Being paid has nothing to do with it. Volunteers still are representatives to the public of whatever organization/group they are working for.

If I had a volunteer working for me, I surely would not appreciate them shooing away paying customers. In fact, I'd probably relinquish them of any responsibilities and find someone who can be a good face for the business instead.
