Yes, it will be like a board of directors. A committee to look after TIME's affairs.

Yes we do but since the clan is expanding, we are trying to make it that we have 2 active wars on at all times. You do not now what goes on behind the scenes at our clan and are starting a user group for private discussions. I have had enough of coming online to 30-40 pms per day where i get feedback from games etc. so we are going to get a group from within the clan. that deals with a percentage of the members and come together to talk within the user group.
This will then also speed things up instead of having to respond to each member individualy.

Re-read his comments. There is no reason for a clan to have two different private forums for the same purpose. Why cant you discuss "private discussions" in your TIME forum, or why cant you get feedback from games in the game chat log? Thats what theyre there for.

and all you guys who says this a bad idea it is a good idea. the point of it is so that we can talk about things like who should we have join the clan and what clan wars we should be in. and so we can organize stuff more neatly.

This kind of sounds like what some clans are doing, but maybe backwards though.

Many clans have academies or training groups to develop players. Then you can leverage the main clan to decide who joins or does not. As for voting people out of your clan, I suggest a pm system in place for your 3 leaders. You don't need more groups where you can have threads.

Based on this definition, there is no need to have a new group. You can train and group in threads, and you can vote centrally by a pm system.

yeah i guess. I think what he is getting at is that there are some people in the group who he might not trust to make dissicions.

you also kind of have to think of it like school

you dont have one binder 4 all your classes its to messy so you have a lot. so our clan is like school. we open up another user group which is like our folder. this will keep us organized help us have a better clan and make our lives easier.

No what i am getting at is the fact that we have 33 members and i get close to 30 or 40 messages a day on some days. Also jpcloet i am not going to bring up the way time operates within our group in a public thread. the rules on user groups are clear.

1. Discuss certain topics and common interests or
2. Are functional in nature that are meant to help the site or
3. Only compete internally against their own members or
4. National Based Teams that may compete in Tournaments and against other National Teams.

So the group i will be opening comes under sections 1 and 3. So maybe i did not world it correctly in the opening thread.

and 40k guy i trust all players in our clan. but want some to get more involved taking some of the work off of me. and helping with daliy things that go on. (see the pm i sent asking for players willing to join. Also the fact the whole clan will vote who they want in the group on a monthly bases.

jefjef this thread has nothing to do with you. If you want involved with the clan so much first contact is koe_sirius.

like i said to JefJef go run along and deal with your clan we now what we are doing and need. (this is none of your business.)

so thank you but the group will go ahead as we are not breaching any rules behind this.

After thinking about this a little further, this should be discussed inside of the TIME, not outside. You don't need a public thread to start a group by the way. Get your 10 inside of TIME and then submit the e-ticket.
