While I am not in agreement that the majority of police are like those depicted in these videos, it is becoming a sadly frequent occurrence.

The idea that the public can get justice from the courts regarding crimes committed by police is just fantasy, as has been demonstrated over and over again. Really, we need a separate court system with defenders and prosecutors who are tasked with just pursuing police crimes and nothing else, which are then handed over to a specialized judicial panel (public of course) which will impartially evaluate the crime committed.

Of course, that will never happen.

A BC RCMP officer is charged with killing a motorcyclist. He attempted to conceal the fact he was drunk by going home and drinking more before returning to the scene. He did not render any assistance to the injured motorcyclist before he left the scene. This same officer was involved in the death of a Polish man at the Vancouver airport. The Polish man was unarmed when several RCMP tasered him to death.

I don't know. Maybe I'm just cruel and jaded about the first one but I don't think this new video is comparable. To me the officers involved premeditated beating the guy. Even if they did not mean to kill him the physical damage done was not only excessive but inhumane and completly unreasonable.

In a small way I admire you guys that feel the same way about the woman in the OP. If everyone was nicer none of this could happen. Of course that means she would not have even been to the point of being cuffed let alone kicking the wrong nasty cop.
