I wonder if the president or anyone associated with his campaign said that.
Hey, if you recorded Obama 24/7 without him knowing, I'm sure you'd find all sorts of disturbing things.
The reactions from many to this whole story is absurd though. People are surprised that politicians and political wanna-be's say blunt things to closed groups of people.
"Oh my! Politicians are two-faced!? NO WAY!! Of course, the politician which advertises my worldview certainly isn't like Romney. No no no!"
Most of the people who are in an uproar about this Romney gaffe are naive.
The reality is that in the last couple of days Obamas odds on getting re-elected have hardened to 2/7 , bookmakers are are not renowned for their naivety.
I'm not at all talking about chances of Obama's reelection.
Obamas re-election will be in many ways by default because Romney is appearing unelectable , his gaffes are the reason why , it is in fact naive not to recognise this .
We're talking past each other.
Some people focus on the faults of disliked politicians, yet they fail to level similar criticism against their own favored politicians. I attribute this inconsistency* to people's naive views about politicians/politics in general.
You're talking about a small group of people saying that Romney's campaign is being run poorly. Period. End of their criticism. I'm not saying that those kind of people are naive... because they actually have a good point. I'm talking about those kind of people who criticize Romney about him "shitting on people" and all this uproar about what Romney
said ,yet the response against what Obama
has actually done is lackluster. What's even funnier is that even though people still criticize Obama, they'll still vote him--regardless of Obama "shitting on people." I guess Obama's shit tastes better than Romney's? Either way, those voters are both shit-eaters.
*(variance, Woodruff, variance. It doesn't follow that some liberals are not at all criticizing Obama because I'm talking about variance. By people "not really caring," I'm talking about people being disingenuous and failing to hold favored politicians to the
same standard of criticism).
