Foolproof way to foil would be car-burglars.

1. Have a pos car.
2. Don't keep valuables or cash in the car.
3. Don't install a stereo in your car.
4. Leave garbage in the car.

Ha! Stupid suckers. (For reference I had my car broken into for the third time last night and just noticed when I got back from class.) It brings me great pleasure that they rifled through all the trash and found absolutely nothing!

edit: Alas, they did take me lunch pail. Bastards.

5. Post in a newspaper the license plate numbers of all cars that have bombs attached to protect against unwanted entry.

Why couldn't you get an alarm rigged up that instead of honking the horn and blinking the lights, the car says in a deep voice "Get away from the car motherfucker". If they marketed lots of different voices and sayings, the thieves would think there is a person nearby.
