I'm just told whether the target is guilty or not. My role PM WC leads me to believe humans can be converted to scum, but as I've said before, I don't need to kill those humans to win. As far as I know, I'd think that a godfather would be immune to my investigation (i.e. turn up innocent).

OK. I'm Gabriel and I'm an archangel. I choose a target each night and if they've been converted to the demon side, I convert them back.

Now with all claims out, Rodion can verify jonty's.

Saf has spoken, we are waiting on input from strike and then I will decide whose lynch I support most.

BTW saf, N3 seems like an odd time to investigate Vio, why not on N1 or 2 when she was more in the spotlight? Was there something that com9 said that tripped you or were you just going for a (more-or-less) inactive player?

Jonty's claim has freaked me out. My flavour spec for the game now is 18-7 with 11 saints, 7 angels and 7 demons. However, it seems one of the 7 demons works like a mafia recruiter, getting saints to join the demons. This seems really bad and I hope I'm wrong regarding this mafia recruiter possibility.

Anyway, vote Soundman.

Absent any counterclaims, he has to die.

Depending on how powerful Soundman's role is (such as the "mafia recruiter" dude), Strike is more or less implicated as scum #2.

I am inclined to believe Jonty in his claim for several reasons:
1. Gabriel is a strong name claim and would be risky to try as scum.
2. Others have mentioned the possibility of mafia recruitment and Jonty's claim fits with that.
3. His reluctance to claim strikes me as pro-town considering what his role is.

If we are to believe Jonty then as Rodion has said it seems very plausible that Soundman has a mafia power role like recruiter. It would seem as if he's trying to buy as much time as possible with a beloved princess claim.

And if Soundman turns out scum, then it would certainly cast doubt on Strike's alignment. The chance remains that he was an honest busdriver that targeted two scum but if it turns out he did so and ended up protecting a mafia power role, then that would be almost too coincidental to believe.

So, I basically agree with Rodion on each point here.

Unvote Vote Soundman

Based on my role PM WC, I feel that saints indeed can be recruited. What we want to do with them once they are recruited I think we can discuss when the time comes to that, but I will unvote vote soundman.

I've had suspicious for a while-- however I do believe we have pegged the GF, for some reason.

UNVOTE VOTE SOUNDMAN (the uncote is there in case it was nessisary, but I don't think I've voted yet so if not disregard it.

I've been reading (sorry for the lack of posts, I always end up getting busy when I'm playing mafia) and I agree that soundman is the safest / best lynch (while not a guarantee, losing him will be the least loss to the town).

Eww, Beloved Princess. That's like, Fircoal territory. There's absolutely no way edoc would put that role in this game. That's not even considering the whole vote detector thing. Vote Soundman

Well looks like there's nothing I can say to defend myself... I'm pretty suspicious of Doom right now and think he should be looked at tomorrow. Go town!

Suspicious of someone who didn't vote you? That is an interesting development. Why are you suspicious of me?

Sorry guys. Got busy the last few days and what time I was on was mostly just checking on the game I'm starting up or outside of this forum. Looks like I missed the lynch.

Evening was coming. Many of there Angels were now known, and the saints were being named as well. Who had lied? Claimed Angels? Claimed Saints? They decided that a Saint had lied. For a Saint a mere rope would be enough to hang him. They placed a rope around his neck and prepared to drop the Saint upon his neck. The saint screamed "Please no! Don't kill me! I am your beloved, your beloved princess!" The assembled were not convinced. " Your voice is awfully low for a princess." Said one Angel and he dropped the man. The rope snapped taught, the the man merely smiled split into a thousand shards. A voice shrieked out "My name is Legion: for we are many. You think to kill me with mere rope?!"

As Legion began to flee a net appeared around the area, and began to rapidly shrink in. I did not harm the Angels and humans assembled at the hanging, but the demon Legion was trapped in the golden cords. In instant later the net sprang all the way closed and Legion shrieked a final time as he was burned from this world in a purifying fire.
