Is there such people? Are you one?

Please if you are or know someone that believes dinosaurs never existed tell us some tales.

Not nearly as crazy as I hoped.

This article does not claim that that "dinosaurs never existed" or that "scientists just made up dinosaurs".

Got any more?

...here's a nice quote...
"Dinosaur" bones sell for a lot of money at auctions. It is a profitable business. There is pressure for academics to publish papers. Museums are in the business of producing displays that are popular and appealing. Movie producers and the media need to produce material to sell to stay in business. The mainstream media loves to hype alleged dinosaurs finds. Much is to be gained by converting a bland non-dinosaur discovery, of a bone of modern origin, into an impressive dinosaur find, and letting artists' interpretations and imaginations take the spotlight, rather than the basic boring real find. There are people who desire and crave prestige, fame and attention. There is the bandwagon effect and crowd behaviour. And then there are people and entities pursuing political and religious agendas.

During the nineteenth century a new world view of evolution was being pursued by then influential people such as Darwin and Marx. During this era of thought the first dinosaur discoveries were made. Were these discoveries "made" to try to make up for inadequacies in the fossil record for the theory of evolution?

That's not bad. I initially hoped they were denying dinosaurs out right. If I can find some time hopefully I can peruse it for some laughs.

But here is the original, classic argument, parts of which are sometimes introduced into debates in this forum.

Giant flying lizards the size of a car? I don't see why anyone would doubt such a thing existed.
Seriously though, I for one do believe that fossils are not a hoax but if you really think on it, it is a hard pill to swallow based on everyday observations. Imagine for a moment that you didn't have "faith" in what you read in books. Now how might you view the existence of dinosaurs?

Yes.

He has devoted his life and education to disproving the existence of dinosaurs and fossils in general. He is working on his thesis to prove that all the fossils and the earth itself were crafted in god's Dreamworks Workshop, by a team of gnomes, at the center of the Milky Way galaxy.

He claims to have found one fossil that still had the earth coordinates for placement written on it in invisible lemon juice ink but he won't show it until he presents his thesis.

Just to state the obvious for the record, such things will certainly be hard to find. What creationists, even the most extreme young-earth ones, believe, includes dinosaurs, so the rantings of some dinosaur-denying fringie has no relevance to the creation/evolution debate. Just sayin'.

There is no evidence to suggest that the devil did not create dinosaurs to question our faith in our Lord and Creator.

How can anyone deny the existence of dinosaurs?

Hasn't any one seen the movie, "Jurassic Park?"

Fairly true today. Not necessarily so historically.

Ive seen some pretty stupid people discount scientific fossil evidence, so Im sure there are even more stupid people out there...but I agree, it seems unlikely.

Any time you postulate a finite limit for stupidity, you will eventually be proven wrong.

That's a different handicap than sheer stupidity.

Good challenge. Haven't found anyone outright claiming dinosaurs haven't existed yet.

The more common opinion seems to be that they lived along early humans,

Anyway, thought these were funny:
Hi All,
I was thinking about this past few days - it seems plausible; could large dinosaurs have been employed to move the massive stones required to build the pyramids? Also, were the pyramids constructed before the flood? It would seem to me they were assuming the flood took place around 2350 B.C. -

This would also explain why violence filled the earth in those days. So the question; were the pyramids built before the flood and if so, were dinosaurs used to move the stones?

CIJ

dude dinosaurs lived with man they found fossils that prove it they found fossil foot prints with human foor prints and dinosaurs footprints right next to each other....and dude Champ, Ogopogo and Nessie are all dinosaurs there most likly pleasiasaurs also back in the 1900's some cowboys shot a ptaradactal, some indians also have the legand of the Thunderbird. over in Africa there are still dinosaurs in the swamps the nativs there have seen em. *crosses arms* what fossil records you looken at?

Dark Lord Trocios

and a sadder one:

When I decided to homeschool my six year old son, I told him we were going to do "Dinosaur Week". Which turned into "Dinosaur Month". . . at the least! We watched "Walking With Dinosaurs" and a lot of other documentaries. He's a pretty smart kid, too, so even he ended up saying "Ok. Scientists say that God isn't real. They say earth is a kajillion years old. They say that people and dinosaurs weren't alive at the same time and that a lot of dinosaurs could have died from a big flood, but that The Flood didn't happen. WHAT IS WRONG WITH THESE PEOPLE?!". He gets really upset about people not believing in God - as in he doesn't want them going to hell and he can't believe people can ignore God all around us. Every time we watch one of those dinosaur things, he gives a big, overly-dramatic sigh whenever they start talking about "millions of years" or evolution.

One that really cracked him up was where they theorize about reptiles evolving into humanoid creatures. Good grief! And they teach most of this stuff as FACT in schools!!!! I can't believe it. Neither can a six year old. So WHY is it so accepted?!!?

I teach him what makes SENSE. NOT what science textbooks say. I also teach my kids to question what they are taught - especially what they learn in school. It's really not fun at all having a bunch of junior scientists in the house when 99% of science seems to be atheistic.
