Question about sigs

Postby CBlake on Mon Jan 28, 2013 5:35 pm

Hey I was wondering how you guys got the long banners in your signatures ( For clans and such) I usually use imageshack, however I don't think I can make a banner size picture there.

Seriously, and some of us don't have banners. Psssh.

If I was to get a banner though I would host it through my own website where I can control everything.

I believe they dropped the size restrictions on Photobucket, but I have had a paid account for a while and with the beta it's hard to locate the current policy.

Ironically, my current sig is based on an image made for a place where there were limits on sig size. I like it because I'm a big fan of the NYC map.

I still have a free photobucket account. Paid or free, that's the site for you.

I believe those size restrictions to which you refer are limiting the quantity of photos you can store as opposed to an individual photo's file size (though I'm sure there is a limit on that, I've never run into a problem when uploading a sig). Some of the first sigs I made were right on photobucket, too. In fact, I still use it to tweak uploaded images into png images with transparent backgrounds.
