This doesn't prove the fact that he is stupid. It is simply the human nature. How many times did you walk into a room and forget why the hell you were there? Or, freaked out about losing your glasses while they were on the top of your head the entire time? Just human nature.

lol....uh huh.....

Let me spell it oot for you; The brim of a cap is meant to keep weather / sun from your face / eyes......wearing it backwards is simply a (ridiculous) fashion statement and defeats the purpose of the brim, neccessitating the use of the hand shade option....uh huh uh huh.....

It's not as ridiculous as some of the other fashion statements out there. At least he didn't leave the yellow price sticker/tag on it. And we don't always use a particular piece of clothing for its exact purpose. For example, a scarf is used to protect oneself from the cold during winter but hipsters don't seem to mind wearing them with shorts in the middle of the summer.

He seems to be a rather fair-skinned individual. Perhaps he's using the brim of his cap to shield his neck from the unforgiving sun. I tend to think the sunglasses would help with the glare as well, but perhaps they are merely decorative (this guy being an apparent idiot and all).

Why would he need to protect his neck while the sun is in the front?

Look at the more swarthy individual seated behind the hat guy. Looks like the sun is shining on his neck.

Also...

The last time I wore a baseball hat was around when I played baseball. I like the sun on my face. :)

I wear a baseball cap almost all the time. I used to not wear one, until I started working at a factory. I noticed that sometimes I would accidentally hit the top of my head on things at work or I had to lay on the floor to assemble brakes. I decided to wear a cap to give my head a little protection and to keep most of the dirt and grime out of my hair.

Normally, I wear my hat straight forward (not backwards or cockeyed...I hate that); however, I have moved to a different assembly line and I have found that the brim of my hat can get in the way of my work, so now (at work) I find myself going most of the work day with my hat turned backwards.

Only at work...not a fashion statement--just a utilitarian necessity to do my job in an efficient manner.

Also, if I were to be out in the desert or the bright hot sun for a long duration, I wouldn't even think of wearing a baseball cap...no sir. I would wear a wide brimmed hat or a cowboy hat (even though I am not a cowboy). That also would not be a fashion statement. I know some people wear some hats as a "cool" look or whatever; but I use hats as a tool (also to show that I am a Minnesota Twins fan!).

Bingo....thanks Creepy.....

When riding dirtbikes and I have a hat on, I have to turn it around so the wind doesn't take it.....strictly for a purpose, like you say :D

ps - for short, close, easy rides....otherwise I wear a helmet (not backwards).

You should wear the helmet backwards one of these days...and do the Harlem Shake...while on the bike. Instant youtube sensation. And a concussion.

I find this style to be not only fashionable but high utility for just about any job or setting:

If you were from Texas you'd realize that guy is an Aggie
and the his hat probably didn't come with instructions...

Let's compromise. If the guy did this for just a minute or so before saying, "derp, I'm wearing a cap with a brim." Then it's just human nature as slim said. If he did it all day, then he is surely not the brightest star in the firmament. If he does it all the time because he must look like Fred Durst or whoever his malcreado idol is, then he must be euthanized immediately.
The right answer to the wrong question is still the wrong answer to the real question.
