I don't think he's supporting the IRS. I think it's his attack of your blind faith that the president is behind all this that has made me happy.
Look, I'm no supporter of the president, but let's not pretend that this wouldn't happen under a Republican president. I've no doubt that someone that talks to the president on a regular basis knew this was going on; I also have no doubt that it will absolutely continue with this administration and subsequent administration and probably occurred in previous administrations.
The problem with your viewpoint on this is that you're coming at it from a "Obama is evil" standpoint when you should really be coming at it from a "government is evil" standpoint. I mean, ignoring that the "government is evil" standpoint is the right standpoint, it's just a smarter argument for you to make. You don't seem partisan if you make that argument and then you force Orwell to argue that the IRS auditing specific and alike entities and organizations is okay. Which no one should be able to successfully do.
But carry on. It's entertaining at least.
