Which could only be done because of what FDR and Woodrow Wilson did in the past.

The year America started minting gold and silver coins again was 1987.

Reagan saved us.

You think there's no inflation problem? We don't have hyper inflation that other countries have seen, but prices continue to rise here in the US, even if the government doesn't count it.

I was really hoping Night that you would have responded to my above post about fixing the 501c4 law,we agreed on something before, I saw this as an opportunity to agree on something again.

We already have a tax code section for groups that are exclusively for social welfare: 501c3. 501c4 allows groups to accept donations for providing social welfare to the public but still being able to share opinions on political activities.

To be honest, ALL these restrictions on political speech are probably violations of the first amendment protections of assembly and speech, which is why many churches (501c3's) have participated in Pulpit Freedom Sundays.

free speech means you do not have to pay taxes? if your looking at a tax dodge as a free speech issue,I see we will not be able to agree. You sound like a true believer my friend,oh well keep up the fight,I will be on the opposite side.

No, you have it backwards. Paying taxes does not enable you to have free speech. People have free speech whether they pay taxes or not. Under current law, people involved in certain groups have their free speech rights taken away by the government simply because they don't pay taxes while part of that group. That is a violation of the first amendment.

Well, GOD BLESS THE IRS, the last line of defense in the War for America's Soul that has been under constant attack by the Tea Party (a racist, violent, tax-evading organization).

As it turns out, there are numerous more organizations that need to be investigated by the IRS for Tea Party influenced tax evasion. What do you guys think? Should we all write thank you notes to the IRS for their brave defense against the Tea Party's attempts to ruin America?

Kind of silly eh? A Bush appointee steps down from the IRS.
One fact that is ignored: for tax exempt status a group
is not supposed to be politically supported or motivated.
So extra scrutiny of "Tea Party Labelled" organizations
is not all that peculiar.

If this is a legit Obama debacle, was it set in motion
by the previous administration to create a scandal?

Silver has no monetary value according to Central Banks. Silver is looked upon more of a industrial metal now days. Only recently people are starting to view it as monetary again. Central banks hold gold reserves.

Not really saying I'm with it just stating that governments don't recognize silver as money.

So it's okay to delay applications for 18-27 months (past an election) and demand hundreds of detailed pages of every personal and political belief of every person ever associated with the group as long as the application is still approved?

Indeed it is. Now if someone will just step up and make the PACs extinct
before the next sequence of elections this country will be better off.
