Not necessarily. I was born in Europe, but came to Canada at a very young age (still in the primary grades) and at that time virtually everyone in Canada was circumcised. I discovered very early on that I had a little extra something that the other boys didn't have, and I used to think of it as just another mark of my superiority. Still do, actually, although nowadays it's not nearly as rare.

Of course, you need to have the right level of arrogance, I suppose. If you're born to be a conformist, then I suppose it would be mortifying to find out that you're different. But if you're born to be a conformist, nothing I say will save you, anyway.
