"how most people see babies":
Do most people actually see babies that way?

I don't have children of my own, and feel that I'm more in the tolerant side of the "how I see babies" category.

For that matter, the comic shows two extremes of a complex spectrum of attitudes to babies...not that the baby seems to care.

What do you make of it?

Babies are weird little mutants. And, they are shit tubes. Food goes in, poop goes out--and that's pretty much all they do.

It all depends on if you're related to the baby. I can't stand random peoples babies, all they seem to do is cry in libraries and swimming halls (no good English translation for the very precise word I had in mind), but I have a lot more patience with my sisters kids. Generally the 0-4 year period is a pain though, 5-9 they are cool and want to learn new stuff without constantly pooping themselves or talking about poop.
