That would only make Obama 2 years older than he claims to be.
Personally I think that's stupid. I'm one month older than him damn it. He's not almost two years older than me.

I'm just wondering how the place someone is born affects his presidency. Like does being born on Mars alone make President Obama a bad president?

1986—Subsec. (g). Pub. L. 99–653 substituted “five years, at least two” for “ten years, at least five”.

Very interesting. But notice it says "at birth." Time to look at the historical revisions of this law...1986—Subsec. (g). Pub. L. 99–653 substituted “five years, at least two” for “ten years, at least five”.
So at the time his mother would have had to be 14+5 years old or 19. His mother, born November 29, 1942, so that means she was only 18 when BHO was born in August. Oops. The law revision wasn't retroactive, it only applied to people born after 1986. Too bad, so sad.
Everything seems to be smoke and mirrors. That''s why if you look closely you can't find him; vampires don't reflect in mirrors.
Metsfanmax wrote:Ok, fair enough, but it's not obvious to me that if this came to court, that the two month difference would really matter. And I wasn't able to find any references of cases where the parent physically could not have lived in the US five years.
Even if this doesn't convince you, there's also the fact that Obama Sr. was actually still married in Kenya, which means that his marriage in the US was not legal, which would make Obama born out of wedlock, and so he would be covered by that citizenship rule.

I'm not surprised that if you believe that his birth certificate is faked, that you also believe vampires exist.
tzor wrote:The fact that is might be fake doesn't prove that the information in it is completely false or that he fails to qualify for the office. It merely means one cannot use it to prove he is.

You know, with all the pages I have seen on the thread on this topic I haven't seen any Obama supporter get this far into the logic. That is a very good point to consider.
Metsfanmax wrote:Well yes, but nevertheless I would be deeply disturbed if it did turn out to be a fake, even if he did survive a citizenship challenge in the court system. It would suggest that he thought that we wouldn't vote for him if we knew the truth about how his parents behaved, and if he believed that, I would respect him less. I don't judge a man by his parents, but by his own actions.
