...I prefer a man who will burn the flag and then wrap himself in the Constitution to a man who will burn the Constitution and then wrap himself in the flag.

Here for the bump. I would probably enjoy a conversation about predominantly reasonable things regarding this but it could never happen in text.

The religious aspects of Yoga are pretty complex also. Even most westerners who practice it rarely understand that part properly.

That's basically the point. While I realize there are spiritual aspects to "true" yoga (if you will), which would be a tremendous rarity here in the United States...as it's being taught in most gyms, never mind at this gradeschool, there is nothing religious about it at all.

And the whole "Christian alternative to yoga" is...well, stupid.

Yoga is all about (if I'm correct) a direct relationship with god, or nature or all that is or how you call it. Christianism is about a indirect relationship, through priests and church to a certain God.

If the approach makes more people to be relaxed and centered, I guess it has to be welcome, but it does make you giggle, at least the header "Praise Moves".

Christianity is about a Direct relationship to God through Jesus Christ

I'm aware of the theoretical difference between Christianism and Catholicism, however, in practice, in comparison with eastern religious traditions, Christianism is more about an indirect relationship to a "fixed" god.

Well hindouism has a pretty indirect relationship with gods.. You need to go through a certain number of life before you become a brahman then you can reach the nirvana.
Yoga is meant to reach higher levels of meditation, not to do physical exercise.

Yeah, that's sort of where I stole the title for this thread. I love that subreddit.
