I wish I could have spent the day at Wasaga. Instead, I drove from Saskatoon to Calgary.

I went to the top of the CN tower yesterday. I had a burger. Looked down at the baseball game below. Now that was the farthest distance I ever saw a ball game with my own two eyes. I'm going to watch the game from a more closer distance today.

I enjoyed the Canadian National Anthem again! It's, like, my favorite song, eh?! Hosers!

"Gypsy told my fortune...she said that nothin showed...."

Neil Young....Like An Inca

Tzor, you're stalking me like one of those "cold case" cop shows. That's also what I did when I was there. And the brewhouse thing. Still at least you can't go to a Dave Brubeck concert, he's dead now. I also went to a "Just for laughs" festival thing. Or was that Montreal? Wait, I think that was Montreal.

Correct, Montreal.

As a city I prefer Montreal over Toronto.

Me too, but they do have "Just for Laughs" events in Toronto, which is why I had to think about it for a sec.

I got a bobble head. It was JP Arencibia Day! Anyway, they beat the Twins (both of them) 11-5.

If I hadn't been stuck in the middle with children on either side (and a bobble head in my had) I probably would have explored the food more. I knew things were interesting when I saw the Cold Stone Creamery on my way to the seat.

After the game I went to an Indian restaurant. I love it how they sell wine in Toronto restaurants by the half liter.

Tomorrow I'm flying south to Long Island. Then back to work on Tuesday.

I hear it was over 100 degrees this week on Long Island, while it was at worst only around 80 in Toronto.

The name, by the way, was "Aroma." In the business card there is a Tandoori oven as the letter "o."

Fun fact ... The original name of the city was "York" ... it was named to Toronto when it incorporated in 1834. The reason ... it didn't want to be associated with "New York." If I understand it correctly the name comes from the islands just south of the city. It's hard to know what the original word in Iroquois meant but it believed to be the place where trees grew out of the water. (They don't but if you look at some of the sand bar island it looks that way.)
