Nevertheless, if you want to go to a public swimming pool in France, you have the obligation to wear a speedo. It s just to make sure you aren t swimming with your shorts or your underwear. It s like every pool does it, and I ve seen lots of foreign friends chocked when they saw they had no choice, they had to follow the rule

Somehow there are all these rules for what you are allowed to wear in public baths, yet I often see arab women jumping in fully clothed in their silly religious garb and no one raises an eyebrow. WTF??
Definitely not in french public swimming pools, ever! Maybe in hammams or stuff like that.
Wait a couple of more years and you'll have that shit too.
How on earth could that happen in a french public swimming pool? In most of them you have to wear a silly swimming rubber hat on top of the silly speedos. You aren t allowed to put your hair in the water, so how could a head scarf be authorized for swimming? Mostly when wearing a rubber hat that meets their religious standards of hiding their hair.
I'm not even talking about just the head part, that I wouldn't object much to, but they are jumping in
fully dressed in their religious garb! Covered from head to toe. And yes, we have rules against wearing anything but swim wear in public baths, but they're muslims, they're above the law, the law is made for everyone else.
