I'm making this a thread for some movie tips, quite simply name movies you think are good and you think others should see. Try to mention movies that you think they may not have already seen. Maybe refrain from the most popular and widely known films like "Lord of the Rings" or "Avatar" as most people have either seen it or seen trailers of it. I'll start things off with two modern films that I think have gone under the radar of the masses.
1. Pan's Labyrinth
One of the best none hollywood movies I've ever seen. Ignore the crappy trailer, it's not at all like the trailer paints it to be.
For once I will say this without irony, "Viva la Mexico!!" Go guillermo del Toro!
2. Downfall
I think more people have seen youtube parodies made of certain clips taken from this movie, than there are people who have seen the actual movie. But it's the best movie made on the subject of WWII. Period. And yes, I think it's better than "Saving Private Ryan".
