My ipod is new, but this is what I got, skipping songs from the same band (since I listen to albums most often, with playlists every once in a while).

1. Company Calls- Death Cab for Cutie
2. Towers- Bon Iver
3. Soma- The Strokes
4. ...Off By Heart- City and Colour
5. Adelleda- Alexisonfire

So I assume none of you use the "random" function on your ipod? I found out that my ipod did not play random songs...apparently apple tells it to play the top played songs more often, a self defeating system. I regularly set my play counter to zero and it is now random....hearing songs I havent heard off the damn thing before....lol

Some of my old faves (no, not 5)...I assume you kids may recognize about as many of mine as I do of yours

Anything AC/DC, ZZ Top or Neil Young.....
Six Days on the Road, Dave Dudly
Brandy, Looking Glass
Green Grass and High Tides, The Outlaws
In A Gadda Da Vida, Iron Butterfly
Promised Land, Elvis Presley
Destroyer, The Kinks
Enter Sandman, Metallica
Feuer Frei, Ramstein
Warewolves of London, Warren Zevon
Play That Funky Music, Wild Cherry
The Rodeo Song, Garry Lee & Showdown
People are Crazy, Billy Currington
"Gypsy told my fortune...she said that nothin showed...."

Neil Young....Like An Inca

Fats Waller did a great version (sadly lost his life the following year). The other versions were rubbish. Still doesn't make my play list.

Got an iPhone in mid-May. Funny to see how I was brainwashed by my Jazz class to listen to a fuckton of Jazz:

1. Nagasaki - Jimmie Lunceford and his band (ok, I had to do a project on this song which is why it's 1, but it's still really good)
2. Bag's Groove - Miles Davis (<3 Monk's solo)
3. Jumpin' at the Woodside - Count Basie (Basie is my favorite jazz composer)
4. Moanin' - Charles Mingus (one of the sexiest bass lines ever)
5. One o Clock Jump - Basie
