As an OSU alum, I am interested in the perception of these articles. Multiple players that got kicked out of the program report to an OU fanboy about things that no one else can confirm. All this from when OSU sucked anyway, I went to school there from '04-'10 and attended every home football game (unfortunately lol).
If you wrong me I will hunt you down and destroy you.

I'm glad I wasn't able to watch the Akron at Michigan game. I probably would have killed something.

So losing that way must mean WYO is actually that bad. HAHA sorry to be mean, I work with 5 WYO grads.

Hey, a greenie!

But this type of thing is how our luck usually rolls. When we finally do play what looks to be a good team well, they go on to shit the bed. And the Husker board is in full meltdown.

But we're 2-1 now after beating UNC 35-7. Honestly, it would have been a bigger blowout had our starting QB not gotten injured the first offensive series of the game (did something to his ankle). But defense came through in a big way. Now onto Air Force who's defense can't stop anyone except Colgate and recievers with bricks for hands (if they could actually catch, the BSU game would have been a lot closer). Also had our 2nd lightning delay in as many games.

Fun fact, Wyoming has the NCAA record for most points and biggest blowout in a college football game (NCAA record, mind you) of 103-0 against Northern Colorado in 1949.

So there was a bit more offense than I thought there would have been in the Ala-A&M game.

Nebraska looked good early up 21-3 but 38 unanswered points
certainly changed that.

Michigan should have lost that game to the Akron Zips...
but truth be told, the Zips are a good team.

Wisconsin suffers a brain fart in the Arizona Red Zone
allowing the clock to expire before they can attempt
a game winning field goal.

A&M made too many mistakes to prevail over 'Bama,
the tide turned with the offensive interference call,
which looked pretty slight on replay followed by that
end zone int. Alabama finally got over their initial
shock and McCarron made it look like a stroll in the
park. The tipped pass pick six in the 3rd Quarter was
another unfortunate twist that turned out to be the
margin of victory.

It was a surprise the Aggies got so close after committing
so many big mistakes. A showcase of offense that chewed
up the yardage. It was almost like a tennis match in that
A&M's failure to hold serve --by their own errors-- was the
edge Alabama needed to get back in the game.

Oregon was impressive at home and Ohio State looked good
on the road. Alabama probably won't be tested again until
they play LSU.

Absolutely they should have. Michigan got lucky to win that game.

No they are not. The Zips are an AWFUL team. They lost to Central Florida by 31, barely beat James Madison by 3, haven't won on the road in 28 straight chances, and haven't beaten an FCS team since 2010. THEY ARE AN EPICALLY BAD TEAM.

You're right about the Zips*, though we'll see what kind of team Central Florida is next week when they visit #12 South Carolina. The Zips probably played good enough yesterday to beat the Dallas Cowboys today.

*I was thinking of Toledo Rockets who played Florida in their opener
and only the referees could stop their offense, not the Gators.

Uh, I don't think you have the right Zips... Akron has been bad for quite a while, and sounds more like Michigan played down to Akron rather than Akron being any good.

BSU vs Fresno as a possible preview of the MWC conference championship is Friday. Though, BSU has a highly questionable offense and defense (Air Force is not what they once were, good QB, bad recievers and a non-existent defense). While Fresno does have a dangerous passing game, they lack a run game and also have a higly questionable defense.

Wyoming vs Air Force. I know, unranked teams, but considering the "Howdy Doody" rant last year, and everything else, I have it from "inside sources" (really, just a player's classmate that posts on the wyoming forums) that every Thursday they've been scrimmiging against the triple option. And already Wyoming fans are buying tickets through the AD office at Air Force, as the Wyoming allotment is all sold out.

And uh, say a prayer for CSU. They face Bama in Tuscaloosa.

Bama should not be challenged again until LSU
and potentially the SEC Championship
if all goes as they planned.

Air Force has been a good team in recent years,
but I think 2013 belongs to Wyoming and
they've earned it.

Fresno State edged out Boise in a shootout, 41-40. Fresno still has a highly suspect defense and no run game to speak of (62yds on the ground), but Carr and his recievers shredded Boise to the tune of 460yds and 4 TDs through the air.

BSU had a more balanced offense, but some costly turnovers in the game hurt them. Fresno beats BSU for the first time in 7 years, takes home the Milk Can, and remains undefeated.

The Mean Green are actually giving the Bulldogs a tough game. Kudos to the refs for setting up Georgia's first TD with an iffy pass interference call. The first Quarter was nearly over and there was only a pair of goose eggs on the scoreboard in a game I expected to be 21-0 after 15 minutes of play.

North Texas certainly had a few nice opportunities to make this a real interesting game, but Georgia took care of bidness.

SJSU not living up to the hype from last year (seems to be the new coach). USU's offense sputtered against USC, but USC barely won, 17-14. CSU gave Bama fits for quite awhile on defense. Offense is anemic. SDSU, not blown out, but snatched defeat from the jaws of victory. UNLV blew out a FCS school (last 2 years it was opposite), UNLV fans want someone else to be HC. Finally, Wyoming steamrolls Air Force, 56-23, and racks up over 600 yards of offense. Revenger for Howdy Doody Gate last year complete.

Kind of glad now that this game wasn't televised where I was, it sounds like the weather was brutal for both teams from what I have heard.

I didn't anticipate the Georgia game being worth watching
and was genuinely surprised to see North Texas hang in
there for so long.

Michigan may be better than you think, they had to play their
butts off to come back and win in Connecticut after spotting
the Huskies TDs with a bunch turnovers.

Then again it would not surprise me to see Michigan, Florida
and Notre Dame finish unranked if they don't pull it together.
But some other teams would also have to step it up to climb
into the Top 25.

Washington is off to a good start and we'll see just how good
they are soon as they play Arizona, Stanford and Oregon next.

Watching a few different college games yesterday it was curious
to see all the different rulings of defensive pass interference.
Michigan State got royally screwed by a Big Ten Referee crew
and Notre Dame prolly had no offense without these calls. If all
the games watched called DPI as ticky-tacky as the MSU/ND game
the outcomes would likely have been different. The Michigan State
coaches will likely have nightmares about yellow flags for awhile.

There's a nice bunch of games this weekend in all Conferences,
after last week's TD sprints for Cupcake Saturday.

Virginia Tech bumped Georgia Tech from the unbeaten ranks
in the ACC last night. LSU/Georgia, Bama/Mississippi,
Ohio State/Wisconsin, Oklahoma/Notre Dame, Oregon/Cal,
Washington/Arizona and Wyoming visit Texas State.

From champs to chumps, SDSU is struggling with NMSU.
Air Force is fighting it out with Nevada.
UNLV and UNM are in a shootout of the "no defense" teams.
Sheep beat UTEP earlier.

Wyoming @ Texas State is under lightning delay (3rd time this season) with the field looking more like a lake every minute, and more and more thunderstorms appearing over San Marcos.

Also, kill the Long Horn Network please. With fire. Seriously.

Wyoming has been impressive. I wanted to go to the Nebraska game, but it was sold out before I knew about it. Growing up in Wyoming and living in Husker country, makes that a blood rivalry for me, in a way.
