Fighting a Speeding Ticket

Ill try to keep this short.

My car went into the shop, so I had a loaner car I never drove before.
I have a long history of speeding tickets.
Pulled over for 56 in a 35.
I told the officer that I have never driven this car before
He wrote me a ticket and told me that I should plea Not Guilty and fight it.
I know wording is everything... He said, "I have to prove how fast you were going and where you were speeding, and that I should at least get it knocked down where it didn't give me points on my license"

1. I attempted to read the ticket, I was not caught via radar or anything, it looks like he did a very quick D = RT over like .2 miles? (I will double check)
2. I will double check the location he said I was speeding, he could have made an error in that on purpose? At first glance the address looks close but it doesn't completely add up.
3. I know cops schedule their court dates all at once, so I should almost definitely try to get a continuance and reschedule it right?
4. I also know the basics, dress nice, be professional, yaddda yadda.
5. does anyone have any other specific advice? What should I expect and are there any specific things I should say?

I live in michigan and i dont know if this law applies every where, but my uncle said that his buddy gets out of all his tickets, because the rule is as long as you arent causing harm to anyone else youre fine. I dont know if thats true, just something my uncle told me

The assumptions of models dont have to make sense for the model to still give predictive power. The problem with ecomonics is you actually start to believe the assumptions of the models.

According to my rigorous DMV training, accidents most frequently occur during sunny, dry conditions where traffic is heavy (thus people drive slow). In conclusion, the accidents are caused by the very low speeds.

I'd be worried about GPS systems with radar detectors because it doesn't seem that they're specializing in their production. It just seems that they're adding something crappy in order to bump up the price.

What do you mean dumb tests? When I wrote my driving test it asked me what does a stop sign mean? with a picture of a stop sign and everything.

I understand your dilemma, DY. I too have failed the drivers' test 5 times because I can't tell the difference between yellow lines, white lines, dashed lines, and all signs. Finally, by random brute force, I correctly guessed the required 85% and was let loose onto the roads and highways of this great nation! Colorado, Utah, and Nevada also have 75mph speed limits on the interstates.
