centurylink field hosts the Huskies now. It was briefly, the loudest stadium.

franklin field is a nice, old, classic. it`s what i call a no bullshit field. wins the gentleman category.

the astrodome is also a classic. not sure who still plays there. But right next door at Reliant Stadium Houston plays.

Georgia Dome (Georgia St.), Gillette Stadium (Mass), Lincoln Financial field (Temple), LP Field (Tennessee St.), Qualcomm Stadium (San Diego St.) - you should really see this one, more people show up for the college team practice than show up for Chargers games.; Superdome (Tulane).

Qualcomm? That place is an aging dinosaur. And if ever the Chargers move, that place will be torn down. And that's from SDSU fans who can barely put 20,000 people in that monstrosity.

IIRC - I'll move these down to the nomination category if I'm wrong - both Washington and Tulane are back on campus now?

I know at least 100 or so die hard SDSU Aztec fans that would be offended with Qualcom being nominated for that list.

People who live in San Diego don't realize how lucky they are. When was the last time that it rained at one of their home games? In the land of the short thermometer, there is a land of milk and honey. It is called San Diego. if I was allowed in the US, I would probably live in San Diego, since I already did the whole Venice thing, and San Fran is colder than my hometown in Canada.

A couple of years ago, the Wyoming-SDSU game was nearly canceled due to the field being more of a lake than a football field, FYI.

Yep. Same year. They literally had to drain the field in order to play on it.

All votes for Qualcomm Stadium were disqualified because they were too ridiculous.

Voting is now open for Best Other.

At DoomYoshi's suggestion, Round 7 (Best Rivalry) has been added and nominations are now open.

Harvard v. Yale

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harvard%E2 ... ll_rivalry

It's called "The Game"
Began in 1875

Apocryphal tales assert that before the 1908 Game, Harvard coach Percy Haughton strangled a bulldog to death in the locker room to motivate his players.
