Don`t have all the games in yet obviously, but it`s looking like Panthers are going to switch spots with the Seahawks this week. I can`t wait to see ESPN jump them 7 spots!

Also, I checked this week`s games with our two ranking systems. All matchups are the same in a relative sense. I mean, I had San Diego ranked higher than Washington, and so did they. Clearly, home-field advantage had something to say about that. I had raiders ranked higher than Eagles, so did they. Clearly, the 76ers World Championship run is contagious.

The NFC Least won three games today, Giants had a bye.
Buccaneers and Texans both surrendered huge leads,
Seattle needed OT to squeeze by winless Tampa Bay.

Meanwhile Eagles QB matches NFL highs with 7 TD passes,
but uncovered receivers tend to do that.

Week 9

CIN ... Bengals wrap an OT gift for the fishes
CAR ... Falcons have been wallowing in mediocrity
DAL ... another ugly win
NO ... Jets DEFENSE show up big
TEN ... starts a 3 game win streak in St.Louis
KC ...scoring defense on the prowl
SD ... Redskins goal line stand saves game & they win in OT
OAK ...Ha ha ha! What was I thinking? Eagles match NFL record with 7 TD passes
SEA . . Bucs score early and give the Seahawks a scare... lose in OT
BAL ...Nice win for the Browns
PIT ... Steelers down early, nice comeback before Pats run away with it
IND . . . Texan fans will be wearing bags in the stands soon
GB . . . Rodgers goes out early with a broken collar bone

6 - 7 . . . 83 - 50

That game was relatively entertaining for a Rodgers-less, Cutler-less game. Hopefully Rodgers isn't out long so the NFC North becomes truly competitive with all three teams playing well.

CIN @ MIA
ATL @ CAR
MIN @ DAL
NO @ NYJ
TEN @ STL
KC @ BUF
SD @ WAS
PHI @ OAK That's what I get for believing in Oakland for even a second.
TB @ SEA What a depressing ending for Tampa fans. At least they're still playing for the #1 pick.
BAL @ CLE
PIT @ NE
IND @ HOU
CHI @ GB We had no business winning this one, but I'm not complaining.

9-4 on the week, 84-49 overall.

Houston felt a similar sting, it seemed like they had ended their skid.
Looks like Rodgers is out for a few weeks, it will be interesting to
see how the Pack fairs without him.

Week 10

WAS... Vikes lose Ponder but win the game
SEA... Falcons are in freefall
CIN... tough conference matchup, Bengals win if receivers can catch the ball
DET... if Forte can run the Bears win, but Stafford & Megatron have other ideas
GB...Foles tossed 7 TDs last week and the Pack's defense was crap vs the Bears
IND... Rams have no Luck here
NYG...Raiders pass defense welcomes Eli back after the bye
BUF... Spiller runs wild? Steelers surrendered franchise record points & yards last week
TEN... Jax woes continue
CAR... tough pick, may be the best game this week, but the Panthers are hot!
DEN... Peyton coming off a bye week?
ARI...love to see the rookie Texan QB pull a rabbit out of his hat
DAL... Saints got sacked by the Jets last week, dunno if the Boys can match it.
MIA... Bucs might win next week playing Atlanta

Thanks for catching that. I normally just rely on someone else posting the games, but I wasn't sure if I'd be back online before tonight's kick-off, and rushed in my picks from scratch.

Overall 39-19

Win - Carolina @ Tampa Bay - Someone called Carolina the "good bad team" (meaning it is the best of the bad teams).
Win - Dallas @ Detroit - The Cowboys played some poor football last Sunday and the defense was not impressive, more Philadelphia's QB woes.
Win - Cleveland @ Kansas City - If it was in Cleveland, I would pick the Browns in an upset, but KC is tough to beat at home.
Win - Miami @ New England - Pats will be angry.
Win - Buffalo @ New Orleans
Loss - NY Giants @ Philadelphia - The Giants are still really bad and now that they've won a game, they don't have much to play for.
Win - San Francisco @ Jacksonville - I think this will be a relatively close game.
Win - New York Jets @ Cincinnati - I'm jumping off the Jets bandwagon right now.
Win - Pittsburgh @ Oakland - Mild upset?
Win - Washington @ Denver - Broncos will be angry.
Win - Atlanta @ Arizona - Cards defense is still pretty good.
Win - Green Bay @ Minnesota
Win - Seattle @ St. Louis

I'm some weeks behind apparently.

Week 8 - 12-1
Overall - 51-20

Week 10 picks (no week 9 for me and no Thursday night game for me):
Eagles @ Packers - Eagles defense is pretty good against the run. I predict low scoring.
Jaguars @ Titans
Bills @ Steelers
Raiders @ Giants
Rams @ Colts - People are saying Andrew Luck is MVP this year.
Seahawks @ Falcons - Blowout.
Bengals @ Ravens - This is going to be an ugly game I think.
Lions @ Bears - I really like Detroit. I wish I could watch this game.
Panthers @ 49ers - This is going to be an awesome game. Harbaugh is a better coach than Rivera.
Texans @ Cardinals - Arizona has a sneaky good defense.
Broncos @ Chargers - I went back and forth on this, but San Diego's defense is not good enough to win.
Cowboys @ Saints
Dolphins @ Buccaneers - I went back and forth on this one too, but Dolphins have to be devastated right now.

Maybe so... but Peyton Manning is playing on a whole new level this season and that Michigan alumni QB in New England is quietly getting it done too.

I won't be surprised if Drew Brees tosses 400+ yards tonight.

Brees came up short of 400 passing yards, but Saints still manage 625 yards of offense with a mere 40 First Downs.

Crazy NFL Season continues; Jags & Bucs both get first wins as the Rams bury Colts in Indy, Vikes get second win and Panthers hang on to beat Niners in San Francisco.

Week 10

WAS... Vikes lose Ponder but win the game
SEA... Falcons are in freefall
CIN... Bengals lose in OT
DET... Lions slip past Bears and into 1st place
GB... Eagles double up defenseless Pack for a share of NFC East lead
IND... Rams end 3 game skid stomping Colts by 30
NYG...G-Men slip past Raiders for a 3 game win streak
BUF...Steeler D shows up this week
TEN...Jags put one in the win column
CAR... tough game on the Left Coast, but the Panthers prevail 10-9
DEN... Peyton coming off a bye week?
ARI... another slim loss for the Texans
DAL... Saints go Marching In and Brees easily past Jerry's follies.
MIA... Bucs might start a win streak vs Atlanta next game

6 - 8 . . . 89 - 58
