Peter O'Toole passes

Such a great shame this fine actor has passed. May he rest in peace. :(
His career took him right to the end...in several more modern series and films.

The stories of his younger acting days will go down in history, including having to be strapped to the saddle of a horse while filming Lawrence of Arabia because he was still so drunk from a long drinking session with Omar Sharif the night before.

One of the real greats, and one who many older people like myself always enjoyed seeing in a movie.

I didn't know he was married to Sian Phillips....who played Livia Drusilla opposite Brian Blessed in I, Claudius. What a witch of a role that was. Learn something...

My favorite Peter O'Toole film is "The Stunt Man". It's one of the most underrated of all time.
