Damn city could have gotten the whole monopoly on Peppermint Patties, but no they had to go for Toronto instead.

Otherwise it seems like a very nice city, even though I did tour Toronto Island on a relatively rainy day and there was practically no one on the nudist beaches. :(

What a weird way to spell Houston... is that Greek?

If by Houston you mean Santiago, then you are correct.

Canada's Plan to Increase Physical Fitness - Cancel Mail Delivery

The head of Canada Post says seniors have told the corporation they want more exercise and fresh air in answer to an MP's question about how the elderly will be especially hard hit by the cancellation of home mail delivery. Chopra's suggestion that seniors would welcome the exercise offered by community mailboxes caused Liberal MP David McGuinty to make a quip about "mail Participaction," in reference to a past government public fitness campaign.Canada Post announced last week it would phase out door-to-door mail delivery in urban areas and plans to raise the price of an individual stamp to $1.

McMorris and McMorris is the best new tv show this year. Sochi (aka Edinburgh) will be awesome.

Blessed are the Cheesemakers

Postby Dukasaur on Thu Dec 19, 2013 4:37 am

Its coffers swollen after decades of exploiting Canada's 283% import tariff on cheese, Canadian cheese giant Saputo Foods (which is not in any way connected to the Mafia, no absolutely not!) has gone on the march to conquer new lands. Having made several major acquisitions in North America, including Dairy World and Morningstar Foods, Saputo is now seeking prey on other continents. Australia's oldest cheesemaker, Warrnambool Butter & Cheese, is set to become on more curd in Saputo's collection. http://www.smh.com.au/business/saputo-ordered-to-raise-bid-for-warrnambool-cheese--butter-20131217-2zj97.html
