for me, still, valentines day is a very american thing
and my wife doesnt really need valentines day to show her my affection,
still it has become very popular in europe , the same with halloween ( not only in the english speaking cultures)

i will go out for dinner , and take my kids and my wife and order that famous giraffesteak ( not kille in public)
and buy some flowers, girls love flowers ( so does notyou2)
but thats about it,
i will not push valentines day to a holy important day in my live

for me the other 364 day are more important concerning my family
i guess its a day for people who have fallen in love new, and use this day to get extra laid
