A good fry up is good. A splash of sauce can make it stellar!

You drinking Margaritas?

f*ck, now I have to go to Taco Tequila's tonight! Hot chimichanga with triple-threat hot sauce, and a Bloody Ceasar!

Don't you have an appointment at Burger King?

I only had to eat at Burger King for two months because the snow never stopped and I was working 14 hours a day. Didn't have time for anything slower than a drive-through. But now, we have had, for the first time in 75 days, three consecutive days of sunshine!

No fucking snow = no fucking snow plows!

So two days in a row I only went in to work for three or four hours, just catching up paperwork and negotiating with the mechanics (the mechanics work for us, be mechanics are the fucking prima donnas of the transportation industry, we still have to kiss their ass to get anything done.) That was Monday and Tuesday. And then today, I really went over the top. I called my camp clerk and said, "f*ck it all, I'm not going to work at all today! There's no snow, and there's nothing on my desk that won't wait until tomorrow."

So, for three days I had time to eat something other than Burger King! Monday I actually cooked, real cooking instead of microwavable dinners for the first time in two months. I pulverized some liver and made homemade liverwurst, on artisan multigrain bread with a big-ass salad.

Then Tuesay I went Vietnamese.

And today (scroll up) I had Tikka Massala!

You're back at that job? I thought you were still driving trailers.

That was last winter. This winter I got invited back to this job.

Yes. Overall, yes. We've been hit with a double whammy, with massive budget cutbacks on the one hand, while facing a record-breaking winter on the other. So I bitch a lot about how overworked I am, and it's true, I am working very hard. But I'd rather do this than be unemployed, and I would also rather do this than a lot of other jobs. On balance, I love my job, and when I actually get a break in the weather like this, I'm not such a miserable prick after all.

For those who don't speak White Trash Canadian, he is referring to a Bloody Mary - a variation on the cocktail called a Caesar.

A Bloody Mary uses plain tomato juice, a bloody ceasar uses clamato juice.

Three vampires sit at the bar.
Tender, "What'll it be?"
Vampire 1, "Bloody Mary."
Vampire 2, "Bloody Mary."
Vampire 3, "Hot water."
Tender, vampires 1&2, "Hot water?"
Vampire 3 pulls a tampon out of his pocket, "I'm going to have tea."

You're not british. It's just a Caesar.

Nope, it's just a Caesar. There is no such cocktail as a bloody caesar.

And finally, from wikipedia:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Caesar_%28cocktail%29
According to Chell's granddaughter, his Italian ancestry led him to call the drink a "Caesar".[2] The longer name of "Bloody Caesar" is said to differentiate the drink from the Bloody Mary, but Chell said it was a regular patron at the bar who served as the inspiration. During the three months he spent working to perfect the drink, he had customers sample it and offer feedback. One regular customer, an Englishman, who often ordered the drink said one day "Walter, that's a damn good bloody Caesar".[4]

I would have that except use water as mix.

A large marge is a large margarita. I prefer frozen ones over liquid ones. However, since you are in Hawaii you should probably have some sort of Hawaiian fruit drink.

Maybe rum with Hawaiian Punch.

Of course they weren't! Regardless, we have been at war for 100 years.

I was favoring a bloody good mango juice as mix, but ran out. I had a Coconut Porter with supper. Maybe should have put some in there. Have you tried Meyers's? I don't like Rum straight but in juice it's bloody marvelous, YUMMO!!
