I am going to text them from an unknown (to them) phone number.

The first text will say:
"You get a strange text on your phone... who do you think it is from?"

Then I will just make up the story as we go along.

What is our next chapter?

We need to set up a scenario where the texter is an ex-lover with a vengeance streak. Why is he/she texting this person?

Background on the game.
He is a Doctor of Jazz Saxophone. No steady job, but parents are well-off enough that it doesn't matter. The sister went to Oxford to study Russian and is hoping to work at the Canadian-Russian embassy.

Remember, all responses need to end with another open-ended choice to keep the adventure going.

I initiated a real life experience like this with a close female friend and she thought I was someone else, and she is married.

Wasn't pretty.

I deleted the entire conversation.

Very well, keep your secrets. I challenge you to a duel! You may conduct the battle in a mask, if you'd prefer

So I replied:
You deduce that your ex-lover turned foe, Esmerelda, the silken cravebeast, has texted you. Do you a_ keep silent b) play along pretending you don't know who it is and challenge her to a duel or c) call the police

You chose option b

She says: "I figured as much, now where should we duel? a) a public parking lot b) an abandoned and snowy beach or c) digitally

She says, "very well, we will meet at the [local] beach" set a time (preferably in the dark). Do you a)prepare for this battle, b) laugh, thinking there is no way she can beat you or c) think about preparing

Tonight, I am going to send the next message:
You arrive at the beach. It is dark and cold. You used to play here as a kid. It seems different now. You brought your favorite weapon the [blank]. You spent all day practicing with it. You walk around, keeping an eye out when you hear a muffled sound from a bush. When you get there, your friend Sara-Beth is tied up with a note in her mouth. The note says: "did you really think I would let you defeat me? While you were here, we kidnapped your sister, you should have kept a better eye on her". Sara-beth says she was getting strange texts and that is why she is here (she thought there were free dolphin rides). What do you do a)ignore it, thinking this is just a dumb prank and that you have wasted enough time with it. b)call the police and explain the situation c) prepare to take on the gang yourself

So, the question is: what should the weapon be? I will pick my favorite that pops up before I send the message tonight.
