Who is celebrating March Madness with a vasectomy?

Postby saxitoxin on Sun Mar 16, 2014 10:13 pm

Forget college basketball players cutting down the nets after a victory. Some fans of March Madness are making their own monumental snips: vasectomies.

"We do have (in March) typically about 50% more vasectomies than in other months," said Dr. Ed Sabanegh, chairman of the Department of Urology at the Cleveland Clinic.

"A lot of patients come in and say, 'I have to have this during March Madness, you have to talk to my wife about it. Tell her what my limitations are and that I need to be on the couch.'

I think if you need a note from your doctor addressed to your wife saying that you need bed rest just so you can watch a sports tournament then you probably deserve to have your balls cut.

Pussies.

I had the snip many years ago now. I was advised to wear tight underwear, and (for reasons I forget) to eat more sugar than normal. I don't remember anything about sitting about watching sport.

I have no idea at this remove - I think the year was 2004, but I could be wrong.

Ok, I therefore decree, sanction, confirm and designate that it was in March.

Who is celebrating Saint Patrick's day with a vasectomy?

Postby 2dimes on Mon Mar 17, 2014 5:20 am

After I did that I felt pretty good so we stopped at a restaurant on the way home. While sitting on a hard chair the local anesthetic started to wear out waiting for our sushi. I almost threw up and nearly passed out. Then I excused myself to go wait in the car to recline and nap.

I don't remember what month it was either but also I didn't watch much TV.

Hey Yoshi, this forum has a thing called big image brackets for pics that are otherwise just too large. Think you could pop that bracket into them? Thanks.

College sports suck and I can never get into them.

Also, I agree with TG. I wouldn't even consider marrying a women who wouldn't be ok with me a watching sports.

Pretty sure the "sugar" is salt peter making the vasectomy unnecessary. All that pain for naught.

13/16 so far. Arizona St only lost by 2, so it could have been 14.

Got 3 more upsets picked for tomorrow - Tulsa, E Kentucky, Tennessee. Also, one nearly impossible upset... can Cal Poly be the first 16 seed to beat a 1 seed?

In breaking news: a man dressed as a dinosaur has been arrested outside a women's college dorm in Kentucky. Early reports say he was ranting incomprehensibly about his "seed".

The 3 seeded Blue Devils got their balls nipped today.

Lots of bracket busters... Mercer beats Duke, Dayton beats Ohio State, North Dakota State beats Oklahoma, Tennessee beats U.Mass, Harvard beats Cincinnati and Eastern Kentucky is giving #2 seeded Kansas a tough go.

Go! Go! Go! COASTAL CAROLINA!
